I'm just curious, out of all of us who got brought here, how many are from Earth? And out of those, how many are from New York?

[He shrugs.] I guess that's it. I know there's more important stuff going on, but I was just wondering.

What happened back home? If you don't mind me asking, I mean! [a beat] I'm Catty, by the way. I probably should have introduced myself before asking weird questions about your home life.

[Let's see, how to do this in a way that doesn't reveal anything about his Alter Ego...]

This supervillain crossed over from another universe, bringing Spider-Man with him, even though the Spider-Man in my universe had already died. Pretty soon though the new Spider-Man and the Ultimates teamed up to get rid of the guy and send everybody to their home universe.

Wait, wait. Spider-Man? Like--? [She flexes her wrist in a way that's supposed to indicate 'web thingy Spider-Man??']

Yeah, like that. He's pretty awesome.

So have you met him? Because that would be extra awesome, I'm just saying.

He's here, you know. I could... arrange a meeting, if you want.

[Catty grins. She's not exactly a comics fan in her world, but come on Spider-Man!!] Are you serious? I could totally go for a Spidey meet up.

Yeah, totally! Where are you at, I'll tell him to swing by.

I'm in the Wood Sector! Spiders are okay with trees, right?

Totally cool with trees! I'll tell him to head over.

Awesome! I'll be here-- [And she sends the location of a nearby park, where she can be found sitting on a bench and idly swinging her legs about ten minutes later]

[ooc; Catty can read minds, is it okay if she skims through his? It's cool if not!]

[And about five or so minutes after that, Spider-Man comes swinging down, landing in front of her. If she were to scan his mind, she'd find him trying to make sure he makes his voice sound different so she doesn't recognize him from the video.]

Hey, I heard I had a fan around here.

[She knows she really shouldn't. Secret identities are supposed to be secret, and it's not fair of her to use her powers to--

Miles Morales, huh?

Catty thinks she might officially be the worst person ever. But she does note the way he's making his voice different, and decides she'll keep her mouth shut. Curiosity satisfied, she slips seamlessly out of his mind. For the time being, at least] Holy crap. [A wide grin crosses her face] Okay, I've seen a lot of things, but this is definitely way up there on the cool scale. Nice to meet you, Spidey. [A beat] Can I call you that?

'Course you can. Can't be formal all the time.

[Meanwhile Miles has no idea his cover's been blown, and will continue to act accordingly.]

So, you want a bird's eye view of the city?

action!

[traitorously]

Awesome! I don't know if your friend mentioned it, I'm Catty.

[Her eyes widen. She doesn't care what he wants to call himself, because that is literally amazing] Seriously?

Sure, why not? Web's strong enough for both of us.

[He offers her a hand.] You in?

[She takes his hand pretty much as soon as it's offered] Uh, I don't think I've ever been more into anything in my life before.

[Miles pulls her up and puts an arm around her waist. He jumps high in the air, throwing out a webline to the nearest building. Together, they swing up and around, landing on the roof. He stops for a moment to adjust his grip and let her catch her breath before they're off to the next rooftop!]

[Catty lets out a loud whoop as the air rushes past them, showing no signs of fear or concern.] What are we waiting for? [Between her words and the look on her face right now, it’s pretty clear that Catty Turner has no interest in catching her breath right now] Let’s go!

Alright, alright, I'm going!

[They swing around the Wood Sector, heading towards Fire. He generally sticks to the higher buildings, but occasionally swings low enough to get them almost street level.

There are their fair share of whoops and "Yeah!"s and "Hey, watch it!"s about.]

[Catty just laughs at his reaction, making sure she's holding on tight. Not that she'd be in much danger if she dropped, but she'd rather avoid turning into a shadow in the middle of the day.

There's a shriek from her the first time they head towards street level, but she gets into it after that, with her own fair share of yelling. Turns out Catty's a huge adrenaline junkie. When they stop again, she's flushed in the face and her eyes are bright, practically sparkling] Goddess, that was amazing! How do you not just spend like, all of your time doing that?
