[A broad smile is on Korra’s face when she turns on the video feed. She’s leaning to one side of the chair and looking pleased as punch.]

I’ll be reopening the dojo in the Wood Sector and I need some teachers, mentors, instructors- whatever you want to call yourselves, to teach people that want to learn. Any fighting style will do, but if it’s martial arts; then all the better.

If you’re interested in lessons, get in touch with me here or privately. I don't know how much lessons are going to be yet, but I'll try to keep it low.

[There's a pause where Korra considers her next words and her smile fades a little.]

If you're half as good as Dinah Lance is [Not was.] then I need to talk you.

[Four months of training with Dinah isn't enough for Korra. She wants to dig in further into the various styles she was mastering, and this is the only way she knows of to find someone that can help her do just that.]

[A wave of his hand.] Oh yeah, I've sparred with Dinah. Multiple times, she really kicks me back into high gear. Her legs are deadly weapons.

[Just the mention has Korra grabbing the side of her ribs.] Yeah, they really are.

[That totally cinches it for her.] Can you teach me? I can show you all the styles we were working on.

[He brightens up at that.] Sure! I'd love that, I've been looking for a new sparring partner, I think I'm starting to get out of shape here.

[She instantly turns on her encryption and lists off style after style that Dinah was teaching her, which is apparently enough to actually make Korra take a couple of breaths in between streams of words. The last one being where they left off, a custom style they were working on to defend and counter against chi blocking specifically.

Excited beyond reason to have someone who knows Dinah and sparred with her, Korra tries not to talk animatedly with her hands. She tries.]

We can do all of those! The dojo has plenty of room; or if you don’t want the dojo my second floor’s all about training and we could practice there.

[Dick listens in slight fascination, because damn, Dinah really went through the maneuvers there. He's taking mental notes for them, and almost wishes he had something to take actual notes on.]

Your second floor is a training studio? [He can do most of those, but he should probably not do all of them.]

Okay, okay, there's a lot to pick there. How about we meet at the dojo? I should come by there more as it is.

[She gives a very satisfied nod in answer to the question about her second floor.]

Sure, I’d love to! [A message with the dojo’s location gets sent.]

I’m going to be there for the rest of the day I think, so I’ll see you there! [Sharing a connection about Dinah, the teacher she’s shared a lot with, is something Korra’s really looking forward to.]
