[No big speeches today - Shepard's just in from a jog, hair pulled back from her face, cheeks flushed, and she doesn't bother with a preamble.]

Anyone looking for a sparring partner? No powers, no weapons, just good old-fashioned hand-to-hand? Staying in practice is a good idea, and it's been quite a while since I've had someone around willing to trade punches with me.

Yeah? [Shepard is more than okay with enthusiasm - frankly, she's going a little stir-crazy herself lately. And honestly, she wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in a no-powers, no-weapons setup. A lot of people here seem very reliant on their powers.]

That's great. Know of any good places for it? My suite's not really spacious enough to lay down mats.

I know of an empty room in my sweet that might do. No mats, but I can look around and see what I can find.

That sounds great. I'll dig around, see if I can come up with something to use as mats.

I'll see what I can do about the furniture in there so we have some more room.

Maybe we should think about opening up some sort of public gym. I know a bunch of people have been offering training in their own suites, but just a big open space where anyone can come and spar might be more helpful.

God, I would love a gym. Punching bags, machines, mats...

[ She's quiet as she tries to think of what she knows of this place. Unfortunately, she doesn't know of any such spaces available for free. ]

We might be able to find someplace in one of the business areas, but we'd have to pay rent.

Not just rent. We'd need to come up with the money to buy equipment, operate the place... [Shepard shakes her head. She's been working odd jobs, saving up money, but certainly nothing like what would be needed to run a gym.]

I might have gotten something that may pay well. I'll let you know how it goes.

[ All she has to do is find a murderer. How hard can it be? ]

[Shepard just smiles - the thought of maybe getting a public gym set up, while not one she was considering at first, is a good one, she thinks.]
