...I found something cool a little past the western part of the secessi. It's the ruins of a place the Erol'a used to worship the Great Turtles. It's falling apart, so you have to be careful when exploring it...

It's called Astegune! The names of the six turtles that made up the Zeshoran landmass are engraved on one of the walls, and there are little shrines for the rest, though the names aren't legible anymore on those.

Our hatchlings don't have anything there, but there's definitely one for Asti -- is that even his real name? I know it's what Mal-nyan called him, but do we have another source for it?

Um, anyway! I thought it might be nice for everyone to know about, so even if you can't get there yourselves since it's, ah... Kind of tricky, ne? You can at least visit the area and pay your respects if you wanted to.


((ooc: Akito will have shown Skul the location first before doing the stupid thing, but consider this permission for all characters to visit Astegune. It'll probably take a bit of time to locate it without being shown the way, but not too long!))

Are the Erol'a going to mind if people visit a site like that?

None of them seemed upset when I asked about it aside from worrying about how dangerous it was.

I showed Skulduggery, but I've already fallen behind with my deliveries from so much exploring! So, ah... I don't have time to show people exactly where it is. But it's not hard to find! If you go out to the seccessi and then keep going farther west, as long as you keep an eye out below you it's not too difficult to spot!

Can it be reached by air? And am I going to be harassed by kids on the way?

It's underwater, but you can fly over it! It's in about, um... fifty feet of water. It looks like it must have sunk during an earthquake.

The kids and most Erol'a seem to avoid the secessi since they're not very safe to explore.

I was exploring the secessi and the area around it! The underside of the reef is really pretty... There are lots of pearls and things there, though they're really hard to extract.
