[A few days after this conversation took place, Zatanna chose to make a rare public appearance on the radio network. She would have used the public consoles, if the subject wasn't too delicate for certain ears:]

Okay, so...I have an idea.

[~~Fair warning, at this moment, it was a fairly terrible plan. And almost certainly won't work. Unless it does~~.]

Remember that Vision we all had a couple of days ago? [Rhetorical question. Of course they did.] Well, it got me thinking. What if Tu Vishan really is still alive, only...trapped? Buried within his own mind so deep that he wasn't able to reach out to us until we went looking for him.

So let's look. Magically, I mean.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that...if you have any magical abilities whatsoever, would you be down to try something with me? It's not too dangerous. Probably.

What is it you can do, exactly?

[She wasn't going to turn down help, no matter how much or how little it might contribute. At worst, the more bodies present, the more physical support she had. Which could be useful if things take a turn for the worst-case scenario....]

Pretty much anything that's needed. Support, security, glorified battery too, probably.

I might be able to help you look, too. I was able to help Vergil break out of a prison in his mind. Not sure if that'd be helpful.

[Oh, she knew better than to ignore a sudden privacy filter. Even if the radios were meant to be for Foreigners only, some secrets simply weren't hers to share.]

If that's what turns out to be the issue, then I'd say that could be very helpful.

Though, right now, I'm thinking more of a reconnoissance mission. Just this once, I'd like to know as much about what I'm up against before I start throwing more spells at it.

If he's ever overpowered and they're taken from him, he's not defenseless, but he's acutely aware that without them he's little more than a highly skilled and acrobatic human.]

In that case, I definitely volunteer my services. I'm pretty good at reconnaissance.

[He's thinking of it as atonement for misusing that particular ring in the past. Yikes.]

Though it might not be the kind you're thinking about. This is less a physical thing and more...mystic. Or spiritual, I guess.

Well, I'm not sure how good I'll be at that. But I can try.

If not, that's alright too.

I've already spoken with a few other people who are way more honed in their detection abilities than I am. So we've got a few experts on the scene. But you're right, it can't hurt to at least try.

Good. We'll have a mix of capabilities and strengths.

There's no chance this could hurt Tu Vishan, right?
