You left out the diabolical cackling after your oath to take the magic. It completely ruins the atmosphere. I'm not even a little goosebumpy after that.

I'm giving you a 4.7 for theatrics and atmosphere. Could do better. The hissing thing was a nice touch though.

Not the first time I've been called that, won't be the last. Why do you want the magic? Please do tell me you sad story, I'm sure it's completely and utterly unique.

Generally the people I've met who want to steal magic don't tend towards the hero side of the spectrum. Probably something to do with the stealing part.
