 [The only thing worse then hitting your head during a hurricane and being ordered to rest for two weeks was hitting your head, being ordered to rest for two weeks and then waking up miserably sick with a cold.

I bet Sherlock would make a fortune if he ever decided to write mystery novels. You can't be the only one bored with the easy stories.

He'd probably get bored too quickly. He strikes me like the kind of person that would rather solve real cases than write about fictional cases.

[Much like Conan himself. He had never understood how his father could prefer the fictional cases of his books rather over the real cases the police called him in for. ]

Probably. [He did always leave John to do the blogging.] But it isn't as though this particular world has got serial killers or even a case he'd rank above a six.

[If Sherlock did write mystery or crime novels, he could control who the suspect was and how interesting it became.]

No but aren't you curious as to what sort of mystery book he might come up with? Or you could ask him to play Cluedo. Sherlock will even let you say that the killer is also the victim if you come to that conclusion.
