[Perhaps some of you have noticed a set of mysterious cautionary signs going up all around Keeliai. The signs, declaring certain off-limits areas as Government Property - No Trespassing, are cast in bright yellow and written in several major languages (including English and French) that someone has contracted out to a local sign-maker. They are most noticeable in places like sewer entrances and other law-code-specified regions that the Emperor has declared inaccessible to foreigners.
All of this work was accomplished, of course, by Javert, his efforts to improve the Keeliai city law enforcement processes and create a fairer ground for new foreigners now officially sanctioned by the Emperor herself. But that is only the start of his work; there is still much left to do, and that is why he appears on the network today, in his full well-groomed coat with his hair and whiskers tamed into submission and a cold, proud expression on his face. At the last second, one might be able to catch a small, self-conscious rub at his forehead, and a quick finger-comb of his bangs over his face.]
I need a well-spoken individual to agree to a read aloud. [His voice is as cold and abrupt as his manner. He draws his shoulders back to his trademark military stiffness.] You will be paid by the hour, at a fair rate. You are expected to complete a full reading of a big tome as quick as you can.
There is another thing… [Here there is a palpable hesitation, and Javert grimaces at the camera.] A volunteer opportunity. Unfortunately. Mostly to do with hanging signs and translation work. It will best suit honest men, multilingual, who are interested in public safety. I won't waste your time unless you want to hear more. Contact me about it.

I would like to request a reduction in my hours. Half-time is preferred, until the next crisis stretches your construction resources.
