So far, there have been a few bigger crises that we've dealt with.
The first one was a gang war which started shortly after we began arriving. It culminated in an attempt to blow up one of the flippers of the turtle and three people getting sacrificed shortly before that.
There was a brief haunting around Halloween, but that was more irksome than an actual situation.
There was a major storm that seemed like a regular occurrence, by the way the kedan acted. But was rather impressive, 'least it seemed so to me.
There was one time one of the foreigners lost control of their powers and burned a great chunk of the Earth sector residence.
Then... there were the zombies. Jiangshi. Aside from the current state of things, that was the worst. Even counting the spectres possession during the recent crash of a satellite. If the turtle hadn't floated up to the surface... they might have actually made it really hard to keep on going.
The problem, so far, with contingency plans is that we don't have information on what might come up next. But I'm pretty sure those of us who lived through some of that are practicing what we learned from those encounters.
There's also the state of the turtle right now. That's... definitely a situation, I'd say.
