Perhaps it is simply an assumption then. But I have not killed only in battle, Temeraire, or only those who have been armed. The circumstances demanded it, through the greater lens of justice, but even so. I do not know that there is truly any right in taking lives the way I have with some. It seems there is a difference, but one might hope, that should a God exist, the cause is understood and can hold fast. I think that is all I might hope for in this now.
And if not...then I suppose that does not matter so much.
