[Audio - Public location]

[Kal's audio post is short, and to the point. In his world the chance that someone would gt to know Superman and Clark Kent at the same time and they didn't already know about his secret was minimal, and even then he'd worked so hard to keep those aspects of his life apart it wasn't a conscious act anymore. He could play little tricks to make sure no one could get a decent image of him, even.

But that's harder to do in here where everybody got to meet Kal-El and Clark Kent at the same time, and the number of people who could actually be Superman was limited. Thus, he has to be more careful.
]

I'm making this post to offer my help rebuilding those houses that were burned to the ground or somehow affected by what happened on that night. My name is Superman, and I'd of course not require any payment, at all. I'm afraid the materials aren't a thing I can produce- but this is not a momentary offer, any time anyone needs some help rebuilding their houses I'll be happy to lend a hand and use my powers to help.

[Well, that's said and done. He then pauses... and sighs.]

And second, a question that's less urgent. I'd like to know if anybody knows for sure what happens to those of us who... disappear and are nowhere to be found on the turtle. And if you have theories about it I'd like to know about them, too.

[That's... clearly the voice of a man who's lost someone recently. Losing what was for a while the only remains of your family, again? Never gets easy.]

That doesn't make it any easier on this end.

[a beat, and then:] I miss her, too.

[He's been forgiven enough, especially when there are more important things to worry about.

The comment about Kara being lucky would make her smile any other day]

I'll be alright, but thanks. [She's used to friends disappearing with barely a word] I'm not sure if this will - help or not, but so far it seems like people who get sent home stay there. Hopefully it means she won't get dragged back here.

[Steph isn't ready to go home yet, but she's glad for people that do manage to... escape, even if she's hesitant to frame it that way]

She's not alone. [It's said gently, but confidently] Kara has a lot of people who'll help her when she needs it.

[there's a pause as she considers something, before adding:] And, well, around the time she came from, I was starting to put together a bit of a team. If things get bad, she'll have people to call on.

[Because as much as she brought the girls together in case she needed back up, she knows they'd all do the same for each other.]

Okay so "team" might be a little strong. We're just... there for each other if we need back up.

[Steph is bad at explaining things, news at 11.

She manages a bit of a wry smile]
Maybe a little, but that just means you're not an emotionless robot. Everyone's a bit selfish sometimes, it's fine as long as you're not hurting anyone with it. [words of wisdom]

She'd probably tell you that she can handle herself just fine.

I can't imagine what that would be like. [There are plenty of humans] But Kara would understand, and I don't think she'd hold it against you.

[she smiles, a little warmer than he's gotten since their argument] You're welcome. I'm glad it did.
