[Kal's audio post is short, and to the point. In his world the chance that someone would gt to know Superman and Clark Kent at the same time and they didn't already know about his secret was minimal, and even then he'd worked so hard to keep those aspects of his life apart it wasn't a conscious act anymore. He could play little tricks to make sure no one could get a decent image of him, even.

But that's harder to do in here where everybody got to meet Kal-El and Clark Kent at the same time, and the number of people who could actually be Superman was limited. Thus, he has to be more careful.]

I'm making this post to offer my help rebuilding those houses that were burned to the ground or somehow affected by what happened on that night. My name is Superman, and I'd of course not require any payment, at all. I'm afraid the materials aren't a thing I can produce- but this is not a momentary offer, any time anyone needs some help rebuilding their houses I'll be happy to lend a hand and use my powers to help.

[Well, that's said and done. He then pauses... and sighs.]

And second, a question that's less urgent. I'd like to know if anybody knows for sure what happens to those of us who... disappear and are nowhere to be found on the turtle. And if you have theories about it I'd like to know about them, too.

[That's... clearly the voice of a man who's lost someone recently. Losing what was for a while the only remains of your family, again? Never gets easy.]

[1, 2, 3 and Kal is knocking on his door.

'Here' is apparently fine.]

[The knock actually startles him and he leaves the console and goes to the door. Once he pulls it open he stares a little wide eyed because...that was quick.]

Oh uh...hello.

[He smiles gently.]

I told you I could find you. I hope it wasn't too sudden?

No, I just didn't realise you'd be that quick. [He's used to his brother and uncles speed, but this is something else. Billy steps back and holds the door open.]

You can come in if you want.

[He nods, stepping in.]

Thank you for this, really. It'll help me feel better if I have reasons to believe she's safe at home..

Don't worry about, really. I know how scary it is just not knowing.

[He closes the door after Superman enters.]

What would you like to know?

[He... actually doesn't know what to ask, so he takes a few seconds to reply.]

I- I guess I'd like to know what did you meant when you said you'd heard him. Did you hear him in your world? Hear him talk to you?

[Billy leads him into the kitchen and puts the pot on to boil. He really needs a coffee. He thinks about the Echo Room for a moment and then sighs.]

Honestly? It was bizarre. I heard him like he was beside me even though he wasn't there. I heard him say something he'd said to me before we came here. Told me I had to talk to him about how I was...feeling I guess.

[He listens to him, patiently waiting for him to put his thoughts into words.]

Something from before you came here? So you knew for sure it was him?

[Billy smiles, an actual genuine smile that's not forced.]

Oh, I'd even know the real Teddy from a Skrull. But yeah, it was something said with just us there at the time and it's not something I'm going to forget real soon.

Would you like some tea or coffee? We've got local blends.

[But he stops himself before asking what that is, now it's really not the moment.] I- no, I should get going actually. I didn't want to take much of your time.

[He's lost a cousin, but he's been apart from Kara in the past. Billy... he's lost his fiance, and that's a pain Clark is all too familiar with. He doesn't want to make it worse for him by remembering.]

If you remember anything else from the echo chamber that could be useful... well, I'd appreciate it if you told me.

[Billy puts his arms out, indicating that he really has nothing to do that would take up time. But he won't force the guy to stay.]
