I realize there is much I still have to learn about the way worlds work, but even I have come to realize that life, in general, does not seem to appreciate the concept of fairness.

It is not fair that you were parted. It was not fair we were all brought here in the first place. Nor is it fair that you should shoulder such heavy burdens. But it says much about the kind of person you are that you choose to do so anyway.
