[As his console is still being regrown after being destroyed in the name of Science, Carlos is sitting in a cafe to make this post.
There's also an inquisitive turtle - the one named Napoleon - behind him, peering at the screen as well while Carlos looks on with a distinctly panicked expression]
I am making this post because I believe that there has been a mistake.
[Carlos turns to Napoleon suddenly, apparently listening something that the young turtle is saying]
Yes, there has! You've mistaken me for someone else, because I am not your parent.
[Napoleon nudges Carlos, and apparently says something pointed
No, that is not how it works. And besides, I don't have time to be a parent. I'm a scientist! And I've got a lot of things I need to study here, like the nature of the multiverse, our potential existence as replicas of ourselves, where exactly all the extra mass goes when someone transforms themselves into a duck...the point is that I am way too busy to be a parent to anyone, and even if I did have the time I wouldn't be a good parent anyway.
[Carlos turns back to the console, looking just a little bit dispairing]
Can someone just...please explain to him that he's mistaken? [Carlos twitches slightly, as Napoleon says something else that he refuses to reply to] Or help find his real parents?
