That's the problem. The consoles are easy because they're already set up. Every time they go on the fritz, we fall back on them as soon as we think they're working again. If we're still depending on them when shit really hits the fan, and our enemy decides to take the network down, we'll be dealing with a communications blackout at the worst possible time. It's done it before, I'm betting it can do it again, no matter what security measures we have in place.
