Well I wouldn't exactly call all the kedan friendly just yet. Or even that one; he was helpful, but once he was done explaining things, he scurried off and left me alone.

[Because anything that makes him assume that he found a kedan that liked him like Mithos claimed to like him would be assuming waaaaay too much.]

Oh, I understand now. If someone broke the law or was accused you were breaking the law, you'd do your best to keep them from being punished for it. Sounds a little better than the system with all the Papal Knights; they would just throw you in a dungeon the moment they believed you were up to no good.

[Not to mention that mayors had the capacity to banish someone without any sort of defence either... cough.]
