The implication of the silent apology doesn't go unnoticed, but Skulduggery takes absolutely no offence whatsoever. He'd have gone mad a long time ago if he took umbrage every time someone made reference to him being a skeleton, or how said being a skeleton might be slightly unnerving for certain people. So he simply nods and lets Aqua go first, waiting outside the door just out of sight.
