Ironically, Sam had minimal cybernetic enhancements, and had been using the sword as it was long before he received his. He was just an exceptionally skilled swordsman.

I would prefer to keep Sam's sword as a memento. Additionally, his sword is meant to be wielded with two hands, which I obviously lack. It also features a palm lock, which prevents the sword's high-frequency function being activated until the lock expires.
