009; console; video
[Raine has spent much of her week attempting to handle several things at once, and as a result she looks both tired and slightly harried when she appears on video. All the same, there's something she hasn't handled which needs now to be outsourced.]
I'm looking for a Foreigner who arrived here a week or two ago. He's about a head taller than I am-- broad shoulders, auburn hair, carries a single longsword. His name is Kratos.
Should you see him, please don't try to apprehend or otherwise attack him. Simply inform him that I need to speak to him.
[She doesn't know why he's avoiding her. Although she has her suspicions, to confirm any of them would require talking to Kratos and finding out when he's from. Raine hesitates, then adds, very carefully:]
Depending on his point of origin, I may have some messages to relay to him from Lloyd.
...Thank you.
[And back to work. Perhaps this will bear fruit.]

He has traveled extensively for many years, and as such has the capability and experience to find what he needs almost anywhere, regardless of environmental complications. The only things I can think that he would be drawn to for certain are unique to our world.
[Kratos is a uniquely frustrating individual, in his way.]

[She's worked with detectives before. Her frustration isn't so much for the man she's talking to as it is for the situation in general, and Kratos in specific.]
He works as a mercenary most commonly. Neither his family nor his driving goal are present in this world. Without knowing his point of origin, I can't tell if he'll want to return to our world or put off the return as long as possible. He's been seen helping people in the hurricane aftermath; if you plan to actively search, you may try beginning with that idea. The last person who I know saw him was Pepper Potts, and he was in Water at the time.
Private because Client Confidentiality and all that jazz
And when was the last time you saw him. Did he seem different or did you happen to notice anything strange?
similarly private onward
[Which she does.]
[At the last question Raine shakes her head.]
The last time I saw him was at his son's home, in our world. I haven't seen him here in Konryu myself yet. When I saw him last he was injured, but seemed to be at peace with himself. That... is likely not the most recent time he's seen me, especially since by Pepper's report he is currently unhurt.

I'll do my best to find him and once I do I'll be sure to pass along the message that you want to talk.

[There was never an introduction. Raine is hardly one to judge not introducing, but she'd like to know who to thank if this bears fruit.]
What's your name?

My Partner, Dr John Watson, is currently in employment at your clinic. He speaks very highly of you so consider this a favor.

[All that had remained was to put a face to the name.]
John's been an asset. It's good to meet someone he speaks well of.
[For a given value of well which includes 'he doesn't always get along with others.']

[Raine sounds, if anything, faintly wistful.]
Preliminarily, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary; but then, others often found my husband much the same.

Especially since John would no doubt pester me about it anyway.

I'm sure he appreciates your efforts.
[Since she suspects that Sherlock's reasoning is rather more for John's sake than for those who are being spared a sharper side of his tongue.]
Shall I inform him you were unfailingly polite? That may lessen the amount of ... 'pestering' you receive.
no subject
[ Indeed, it is for John's sake but Sherlock also likes to vet the people John intends to spend any extended amount of time with. (read: over fine minutes.) ]

[Since the implication is still that a favorable mention to John might be helpful.]

I'll be in contact once I locate this Kratos.

Thank you.
