[A brief text message appears on the consoles. It's directed at the Foreigners, but it's not encrypted, nor has Tony disguised his console ID. All that's unusual about it is that it's text: Tony almost always uses the video setting.]

How many of you have been seeing other people's memories? Does anyone know why it's happening? Is it happening to kedan too, or just Foreigners?

Most important question: is it over??

I have memories of Tu Vishan engaging us in communication directly. Past occurrences allowed him to either appear in individual dreams directly with his message, or to send flashes of seemingly unrelated images relevant to it. I cannot be certain what seeing others' dreams may be trying to tell us, if this is the case.

yeah, me neither.

you're right though - if it was tu vishan he'd probably be more direct. especially now that he's not in a coma or whatever. all of this seems really random.

Which leads to the hypothesis that there is something or someone else at work here. Do you have any theories at this time?

other than 'random Dreaming craziness'? no.

on the bright side, if it's the Dreaming screwing around it'll probably disappear as randomly as it started.

I liked it a lot better when the Dreaming was bringing me magical coffee instead of nightmare mind-melds.

I consume lots of caffeinated beverages. tea is okay, but it's just not the same. :(

Providing knowledge and intel for others is always a mutually beneficial experience. I, too, believe i have been able to provide a great deal of assistance in my time here. Though I do regret the circumstances that lead to it becoming necessary.

well, like we say in my world, shit happens. we got through it and things are better now, that's what matters.

and now we get to do cool stuff because we can, not because we need to.

I have always performed certain functions simply because I could. Some of them were even designated 'cool'

everything I do is cool. I actually run every decision through an advanced cool algorithm so that everything I do is as cool as possible.

I am not familiar with that algorithm

yeah, I came up with it myself. I'm writing a paper on it. aiming for the cover of Nature.
