Good evening, everyone. My name is Inara Serra, and I have recently found myself a bit out of sorts with my arrival in this strange place. I would cry kidnapping, but I hardly think that is the case.

I was wondering - and hoping - that there might just be someone I know here. Please, if you recognize me, I would greatly appreciate if it you could respond.

Also, if anyone could perhaps explain a bit more about what this place is and how I might have come to be here - and why - I would also be greatly indebted to you.

[Pepper is dressed in her traditional suit, hair pupped back and ready for action downstairs in less then five minutes. She's used to having to get ready in a hurry and it's better to be early then it is to be late in her line of work.]

I wish I could say it becomes less so, but that would be a lie I'm not willing to attempt.

[She hums a little, a thinking noise.] That the Emperor did not control them, perhaps? It felt a lot of the gangs wanted different things in the end, but most were highly anti-foreigner. There are limited resources here, and we are using a lot of them to our advantage, by say of the Emperor.

I have never seen or been to earth. No one I know has.

I can definitely agree with that. What of income? [ she could set up a Companion house here, but that would be very hard to do with limited resources and personnel. ]

It's very good to meet you in person. I find two way communication useful, but nothing takes the place of real, face to face interaction.
