first decree [video]
[Logan taps his fingers agitatedly as the feed begins, but that's the only part of him that's anything but stoic. Even with his hair lank and greasy from the sea, his clothes stained and damp and that breastplate surely irritating him, he projects as much kingly composure and calm as he can muster.]
I suppose the first order of business would be to introduce myself. [His voice is deep and rich, a bit of a contrast with his thin, angular features.] My name is Logan. I am the king of a place called Albion, but unless any of my citizens have found their way here, I'm aware I have no authority and will not make any attempts to command.
[His left hand clenches into a fist, hard enough for his knuckles to go white, then relaxes. The movement is repeated rhythmically as he finishes.] The person who brought me here from the Shell's Edge seemed to believe he had told me everything of import, but is there any other knowledge I'm likely to be missing? The natives of a place often take for granted something a foreigner would like to know.

video;
No.

[ polite cough. ]
Well. We are, apparently. This...was confirmed by several sources as opposed to one silly and strange rumor.
video;
[Just give him a sec to process. The hand is clenching and flexing again, as it does when he's faced with any uncertainty.]
I suppose that's no stranger than the situation is to begin with.
video;
Not really, if you think about it. I wanted to make sure you were fully informed before I told you there was a bombing attempt on one of the flippers.
Otherwise, you might simply think me insane.
video;
Was there a reason given for this terrorist attack? Did it have to do with we guests?
video;
I'm not sure.
video;
[Clench. Flex. And he glances over his shoulder, as if making completely sure he's alone in the room.]
video;
Are you quite all right?
video;
For the most part, they have seemed friendly enough so far.
video;
I believe most are. It seems the frustration and anger...while not contained to the gangs, obviously, does remain somewhat limited. I have had no issue in my own sector, but I have heard there are areas, as in any large city, that are not quite so safe.
video;
[The hand clenches tight enough for the knuckles to turn white and stays there a moment. Easier said than done, apparently. He notices, finally, and quietly moves his hand below the edge of the table his console sits on.]
video;
I'm sure it will come in very handy, should the need arise.
Aside from all of that - are you at least settled in? I find my suite to be fairly comfortable, at least.
