[Logan taps his fingers agitatedly as the feed begins, but that's the only part of him that's anything but stoic. Even with his hair lank and greasy from the sea, his clothes stained and damp and that breastplate surely irritating him, he projects as much kingly composure and calm as he can muster.]

I suppose the first order of business would be to introduce myself. [His voice is deep and rich, a bit of a contrast with his thin, angular features.] My name is Logan. I am the king of a place called Albion, but unless any of my citizens have found their way here, I'm aware I have no authority and will not make any attempts to command.

[His left hand clenches into a fist, hard enough for his knuckles to go white, then relaxes. The movement is repeated rhythmically as he finishes.] The person who brought me here from the Shell's Edge seemed to believe he had told me everything of import, but is there any other knowledge I'm likely to be missing? The natives of a place often take for granted something a foreigner would like to know.

Was there a reason given for this terrorist attack? Did it have to do with we guests?

From what I understand, yes. Anti-foreigner sentiment, but what they were attempting to accomplish by trying to potentially sink us all...

An ill-thought-out plan, then. I have more than casual familiarity with those.

For the most part, they have seemed friendly enough so far.

I believe most are. It seems the frustration and anger...while not contained to the gangs, obviously, does remain somewhat limited. I have had no issue in my own sector, but I have heard there are areas, as in any large city, that are not quite so safe.

I suppose we can only pray this to be so. I get the impression that in any likely encounter, my skill with a sword will be of use. Beyond that, I suppose I shouldn't worry.

[The hand clenches tight enough for the knuckles to turn white and stays there a moment. Easier said than done, apparently. He notices, finally, and quietly moves his hand below the edge of the table his console sits on.]

I'm sure it will come in very handy, should the need arise.

Aside from all of that - are you at least settled in? I find my suite to be fairly comfortable, at least.

As well as I can be, I think. I was given a good deal of space.

Which sector?

Metal. [Despite what he's heard about gang activity, it's comforting. The rigid structure and abundant industry of the place soothes him, makes him feel like anything organic stands out, will be noticed and identified quickly. That's a good thing.]

I haven't been over there yet. I was placed in Fire. I rather like it.

I haven't had a chance to visit, but I hear it's quite beautiful.
