[Will begins with this. It's easier to collect his thoughts this way. Granted, it's a lot of information that he has to take in all at once. He'd think this was some strange and elaborate joke his mind was playing on him, but this wasn't really the tone it took with himself. He spends a lot of time sitting in front of the terminal, fingers tapping over the keys lightly before he actually starts writing.]

Hello. My name is Will Graham. I'm sorry if this is an awkward post. I don't introduce myself to others often.

[Sigh. He's not sure about that, it makes him sound like he's weird. Backspaaaace. ooc: The only text up on the network is what follows, sorry if that was confusing for anyone.]

Hello, my name is Will Graham. I was a criminal investigator and teacher before my arrival here. This world is different and I don't have an understanding of how the law system works here fully yet, so I won't be pursuing my former career here.

Instead, I will be trying to get a hand in the fish market. I'm a fisherman by hobby, but I'm open to considering it as a source of income and contribution. Though, I'm not sure how I'll go about that since we're already underwater. I also have experience as a mechanic and can work in the Metal sector if necessary.

I would like to ask who is a doctor here, particularly if there is anyone involved in neurology. I have some medical needs that require monitoring. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to pay or trade services.

Thank you.

[He looks it over, taking in a deep breath. Yeah, that looks good. Personable enough, he imagines. He hopes, anyway. Click.]

[ There's a chance Isaac might be a little jealous you have your shit together, Will Graham. But, it is pretty quick. Though, he doesn't know how long you've been here - you do sound new, whatever that sounds like. He's not sure that when he finally gives his own introduction (which won't be awkard, thanks) if he's going to look into work. Maybe it's been too long since he's worked. Hard for Beacon Hills to employ a former fugitive. That, and like he's had the time.

But, anything that gets his mind off of what's going on back in Beacon Hills is fine with him. So, you get a little bit of attitude. ]

So, you just got here and you're already pimping yourself out for work. [ Not giving yourself any time to settle in, are you? ] Did you even take a second to think, hey, I'm somehow living in a state between life and death? Because, I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.

[ Well, fuck. He actually feels a little bad now. That snark escaping is really a defense mechanism, something he reveled in the year before. Changing gears isn't difficult. He knows what it's like to be thrown into different circumstances. In that case, they were more fun. At the time. Not that Derek had told him everything. He had a lot he had to discover on his own. It's probably why he now has such loyalty to Scott. ]

No. I'm sorry. That was harsh. It's smart. I don't even know what I'd do. I've only ever had one job. I dug graves. I know I don't want to do that again. You investigated crimes?

[ Isaac hasn't died. He's come close to dying. He's been stabbed like twenty times. That hurt like a bitch. ]

Right now I fit in the fire sector

[ You fit in where you live, right? ]

So, you made them add up. [ Cool. That means he's really smart. And clever. Could Isaac ever be a detective? If he got his anger in control. Maybe. ] So, do you live in the water sector or the metal sector? Or, neither and you're throwing us off the trail?
bereavements: (oh it's them)

[personal profile] bereavements 2013-08-12 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
OK, I won't.

[ Joke not received. So, that means he hasn't taken the three hour cart ride into his sector. Have fun with that. ]

Did you find out which sector you'll be living in?
bereavements: (so that's the plan. i think i got it.)

[personal profile] bereavements 2013-08-12 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you were joking. Sorry. Sometimes, with text, it doesn't come across. Do gargoyles spit out water in that sector?
bereavements: (step back. i got this)

[personal profile] bereavements 2013-08-13 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Makes sense. Fountains. Water. It's not wording. Seriously, it's not easy to joke through text. Get any bites at a job?
bereavements: (i can hear you. very clearly.)

assume away
