I suppose I have given myself ample time to adjust to this place by now, so I thought an introduction is in order. [A few weeks too long, perhaps, but they had been busy.]

Welcome to the new arrivals, I am certain you have plenty of questions right now, but do not worry. There are plenty of people here willing to extend information without a second thought.

For those who have been here a while, my name is Diana, an emissary of Themyscira prior to my own arrival. I am aware there are some who are familiar with me [To put it ever so lightly] that I have not met on this land, or prior to all of this. I would like to meet with you if at all possible, though I may have to apologize in advance if I do not recognize you. I have... not been out of Themyscira for long. [Hopefully, that explains the problem. At the very least, they aren't keeping her homeland a secret anymore, so that might lessen the complications. Hopefully.]

For those who are not familiar with me at all, I would like to get to know you as well. The reception here has been more than just welcoming, despite the complications. I believe knowing your neighbors is essential here, no?

I believe that is the title given to me by the public, yes. [At least she's aware of it.] And you are?

H-- [Wait. He's in his Beetle getup. No civilian names, Jaime.]

Uh, I'm the Blue Beetle! It's really awesome to get to meet you. Wait, should I use Diana or Wonder Woman?

[He's a little starstruck, sorry.]

[Good call, Jaime! Not that... she'd really care about identities, but if others want to play it that way. Starstruck feels weird, but she supposed she's had enough time to get used to it.]

Diana would be preferable. Like I said, Wonder Woman is merely a title, and I think I haven't quite grown into the name yet. It is nice to meet you, Blue Beetle.

You seem to be wearing some sort of armor. [Or maybe that's his skin. She can't tell through the video. Can't be a kedan though, they don't know about her, right?] Is that normal?

Okay! Diana. Gotcha. [Oh my God he's on a first-name basis with Wonder Woman, Brenda is going to be so jealous if she ever finds out.]

That's normal, don't worry. Part of the superpowers. I'd show you if I wasn't in public, but I'm totally human under here, promise.

[Blink. Uh.] Why are you hiding your identity from the public? [Looks like someone didn't get the memo. Also superpowers. Hrm. Like Kara's, she supposed.] So one of the abilities is the armor itself?

It's kind of a widespread thing with the community, I guess. The idea is, if someone finds out about my civilian identity, they could possibly use it to find things out about or hurt my family. [Which has technically already happened because of the Reach but that was a little bit different.]

Yeah! It does stuff too. Flight and lasers and that sort of thing.

[Well, okay, that made sense.] Then perhaps the details are something we should talk about in private, seeing as just about anyone could read this. Would you like to meet?

[She will get with that suit later. Derp.]

Good point. I'll go to you-- what's your suite number?

EA-3D. I will keep my door open for you, Blue Beetle.

[It only takes a few minutes for Jaime to head over; after all, he's in the Earth district too, and he's not exactly going to let the Wonder Woman sit and wait for him. He politely knocks on the door first, even if it is unlocked.]

Uh, W-- Diana? I'm here.

[That was fine to her. Instead, she makes her way to the door to open it, decked in the same armor everyone knows her for. There was no point keeping a secret identity for her, and besides having to wear it and a dress on top was a bit of a hassle when she's just at home.]

Welcome. Do you want to come in, or should we continue our conversation elsewhere?

[He takes a step inside. And since she'd asked, Jaime's armor recedes from just his face, revealing none other than... a scruffy teenage boy. Slightly less impressive, but oh well.]

You're young. [Stated more as a fact than as something of a surprise. It was a surprise, thinking of someone so young fighting anything. Still, she knows it wasn't odd here, but he makes it sound like he's done this before.] I have never seen technology like your armor before.

Is Blue Beetle your real name? I assume that comes with the secret identity.

[Jaime, your whole family is more than capable of taking care of themselves, even when aliens attack.]
