[Barnaby's curls look as perfect as always (thanks for the recommendation, Monet!), and he wears a pleasant, polite expression when his feed turns on. Some people might notice that his way of speaking is measured and deliberate, as if he's quite used to having all eyes on him.]

Engineering has always been an interest of mine, especially robotics. I didn't get much time to devote to it, though, mainly because of my hero work back home. [Or, rather, he didn't allow himself the time, but...details.]

Although I have no trouble keeping myself busy these days, I still have more free time than I'm used to. Other people here can relate, I'm sure.

At any rate, would anyone be willing to lend me some technical manuals? Or, alternatively, tell me whether there's a place where I can find something like that?

I don't know about manuals, but I'm working on blueprints, myself. Unfortunately I'm only attempting to replicate what somebody back home [re: my loser dad] invented, buuut you gotta start somewhere!

May I ask what it is you're trying to build?

Certainly, it's called a mecha tank. I doubt I'll go so far as to build it anytime soon, but I'm thinking about proposing the idea to Tony later if worse comes to worst around here. I'm a little unsure of what to anticipate.

Well, if the name is anything to go by, I imagine it would be useful in the event of an attack. I agree there shouldn't be any rush to build it, though.

Anyway, would you be willing to show your blueprints to other people?
