[This is a risk. Not everyone likes him and he knows at least one that probably wants him dead. Still, he won't sit and hide just because of some injuries. Besides Notch makes for a wonderful bodyguard.

Hawke really should be in bed instead of in front of his console, but here he is. He looks better but only barely. There's bruising where his head struck the wall and his left arm hangs in a sling. If he looks grumpy it's because he is. Hawke hates how useless these injuries have made him but he refuses to use what few potions he has on anything not life threatening.

After a beat he lifts a scribbled note.]

I need a hand. Who wants some work?

[Man this sucks.]

[So she can't read. So what? She can still glare intimidatingly through the console if she tries hard enough. If you move outside of that house, Hawke, she will be there to drag you back to bed. So there.]

[Hawke just stares at her for a moment, utterly unfazed by the glare. After a moment he just sighs and waves with his good hand.]

[He frowns at the console and slaps it, then immediately winces. Whoops.]

Do not le▒▒▒▒ your r▒▒. [Which she punctuates with a swish of her tail, scowling at the console.]

[Hawke raises his eyebrow and holds his hand to his ear.]

Sorry wh▒▒ was ▒▒▒at?

[Because if he can't understand it that means he doesn't have to do it right? Right.]

[The rumbling growl should be evident enough, there, even through the haze of static. Don't test her, Hawke.]

[Hawke sighs but because of the console it blares like a screeching banshee. The sound nearly makes him jump out of his skin and he winces again.

Then it's his turn to glare.]

I'm not j▒▒▒ ▒▒ing to si▒▒▒ in my room star▒▒▒▒▒▒ at ▒▒▒ouds all day ▒▒▒ammit.

It is not. [--But sadly, her annoyed huff here is obscured by static.]

[Hawke that static noise is coming from your mouth.]

[Hawke tries to look innocent.]
