All right, hear me out. [ Yes, this is Cain. Cain has been startlingly quiet and going about his own routine lately. Why? Better not to ask. Looks like he's back in the groove of things, however. ] Things have been surprisingly upbeat considering we're all spending what's commonly a holiday season in an impenetrable fog, but I had an idea. Nothing too complicated or earth-shattering. While all of our sophisticated livelihood is on hold... why don't we go camping?

No adventure required. Just good ol' returning to roots and nature and all of that. Good chance to get some life skills or if you're ancient enough to know the days before electricity, wake up that muscle memory. Besides, fog seems clearer the further you get from town if you don't get too close to the shore so maybe we'd actually see sunlight while we're out and about.

Camping where?

Further out on the turtle's back. Venturing out to unknown territories isn't the point of this particular exercise, although that might be worth a trip later on.

[ A slow and somewhat measured pause, before: ]

It's cold for tents.

[ To be fair, it is December, and they're pretty far north in the hemisphere. ]

Insulated sleeping bags if we can, otherwise just bundling up. If the fog is any thinner at the higher elevation, it could be warmer than staying in the city. More sun and all that.
