[It takes the first hour of the trip from the shell's edge to get used to the idea that she may be dead or dreaming. An hour to get used to the fact that she can't get in touch with Jhirem, that no one's heard of Askoupur, and that she's been separated from her family, friends, wealth, and every potentially helpful connection and contact she used to have at her disposal.
It's after that hour that she gets used to the idea, or at least it settles in her head more easily, and the remainder of her trip is spent picking the brains of the kedan in the cart with her. By the time they reach the city, all Bryn feels is excitement. She has no idea what kind of situation she's found herself in, but believing for the moment that she's to be a guest rather than a prisoner makes it all the easier for her to be eager to see Keeliai. The kedan settle her into her two floor suite, introducing her to many things which seem familiar enough, and others that are more technologically advanced.
It's the console that grabs her attention, and once the kedan leave her, she finds herself torn between using the network and exploring the city. This might be a problem for anyone else, but Bryn has a singular gift at her call. It takes no effort to call upon her deity-gift to split, and in moments where one of her was standing, there are now three, identical in every way, even the clothing she wears. She volunteers to take the console, and watches as the two copies figure out which will go clockwise and which will go counterclockwise into the city. Each already of her thoughts before the split knows to spend no more than a few hours exploring before checking in.
The copies leave, ten minutes apart and in opposite directions, each intending to explore the city and talk to whoever they happen upon along the way.]
[ooc: tl;dr Bryn split into three and two copies went off into the city to explore, feel free to run into them!]

[Bryn turns on a video feed with some excitement. They have things like this in the underground, though the Aspurrans tend to use them business rather than pleasure. It feels like an thrilling indulgence to have one set aside for her own use, one that she'll gladly take advantage of. To anyone watching, it's clear at a glance that Bryn is human, but perhaps not from Earth. The leather jacket she wears is fitted, high quality with a brocade silk inner lining, but the linen shirt beneath seems a bit more like a tunic than a shirt, really.
Unlike some new arrivals, she seems...relaxed.]
Well I wasn't really expecting to take a trip again so soon but I guess when adventure finds you there's not really much else you can do but go with it. Hi everyone, I'm Bryn Zethir and I'm from Askoupur. Not sure if there's anyone else around from there yet, but if there is, speak up!
[She pauses and reaches up to push her bangs out of her face, glad her hair is still pulled back in a ponytail as she looks at the screen.]
Sooo, I guess I'm here for however long and I've got to get a job, get settled in, all of that. If anyone has any helpful advice about where to find good work or cool places to check out or anything at all, I'm all ears, thanks!

You said you're looking for work?
video;
I am, or at least I'm starting to look, to see what's out there. Do you have any suggestions?
video;
Well, I'm always hiring.
video;
Are you? What positions do you have open?
[She'll try anything, even if she needs training first.]

[She gives him a wry smile.]
I think it's easiest to say I've dabbled in a bit of everything but mastered few. I have some skills you might have use for but I would need to demonstrate in person later.

Mondays and Tuesdays, of course. I can be there between six and noon if that's convenient for you.
[Don't mind her she's just...going to see if this console has a calendar or something.]
video;
It's Saturday. Tomorrow's Sunday, the day that follows is Monday, the one after that is Tuesday. That's the dating system most of us are used to, so it's just sort of stuck.
