One would think that the kedan would spend less time providing us with these sorcerous message devices, and in being ill-mannered to their guests, and more in arranging proper food supplies and their preparation. Cracks in the Orb, it cannot be that difficult to prepare bread. I have seen Srahi or Mica perform the task a thousand times.

Only, I haven't the faintest idea what is the first step. Ah, but I have been sending a message, so perhaps someone will offer their services?

They seem to think this amount is sufficient for all our needs, and I think that any excess is stockpiled to ensure a steady supply. We do not know how long this withering will endure, after all- it is better to give the matter forethought than to indulge and be surprised when we are forced to starve later.

I know what you mean about the food not being enough. Apparently there's some kind of drought or something. Whatever it is, it means that money doesn't talk as loud as it usually does, which means that we just have to be a little more creative in how we find things to eat.
