[Percy is firmly established in Annabeth's suite again. He's frowning absently at the screen, almost like he's totally forgotten what he was going to say. Instead of words, you get the steady pop pop pop of him messing around with a sheet of bubblewrap in front of him. From the right angle, he appears to be popping it in the shape of a sword. Or a stick. Or maybe just a line.

All of a sudden, his hands stop. He glances at the camera like he's just remembered that it's on, and opens his mouth. Shuts it. Open it again] Hey, I think...I'm seventeen now.

[There's a brief moment of silence before a wide grin breaks out across his face. He laughs, and there's a certain relief in the sound.] Not bad for someone who wasn't supposed to make it past sixteen, huh? Oh man, how did I miss this?

[He leans in towards the screen intently, a certain determination stealing his features. Percy's ADHD brain has caught onto an idea, and it is Extremely Important that it be addressed Right Now] Okay, I know that things are really tight and tense right now for everyone, but this is...well, it's important. Or at least, it'd mean a lot to me. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on some blue food dye? Or like, something that dyes...food...blue.

[That's the same thing, Percy.] I can pay. Or, I don't know, blast you with salt water. I guess no one really wants to swim in the canals right now. [Briefly his expression falls, reminded of what he sees as his failure in trying to save the Water Sector] But yeah, if anyone knows where I could get some, that'd be great.

Your dog? Do people normally find things that belong to them when we dock? Someone found my husband's trident in a shop. And I hope your girlfriend recovers from her injury.

[She shrugs and then realizes that Percy can't see her, instead humming a bit in thought] We haven't been through everything we brought up to tell exactly what it is yet. [In truth, they just grabbed a lot of random things. Anything that looked like it could potentially be interesting was brought back with them] Quite a bit of metal. Some of it might be worth something but I'll be honest and say most of what we collected was collected just because it looked interesting. We've seen a lot of ruins underwater and you never know what kind of treasures you'll find. [It was really just nice to have somewhere to explore. Being on the turtle is a bit like being trapped in a fish tank so having an open ocean was a nice change]

I think so! Annabeth found a bunch of her things, and I think Leo did, too. You should come meet Mrs O'Leary sometime, I think she'd like you.

[Ugh so cool] Man, I wish I'd been able to take a look around. Could I come and check out the things you found? Do you know if the city was like, originally built under water, or if sunk or something?

I'd like to. We don't really get dogs in Atlantis, obviously. Though we did have a pet octopus for a while. [A pet octopus that they let babysit their child]

You can come by any time you like. We still have everything we found. You can come help us sort through it, if you like. As for the city, it was mostly in ruins so I'd imagine it sunk.

She's actually staying in my suite in the Water Sector. [Where Percy doesn't live at all anymore oops] She wouldn't fit here. You can drop by any time, she likes visitors. And also, a pet octopus? That's way cool.

[Percy's face lights up like she just told him it's Christmas] Seriously? That'd be awesome.

Topo was....interesting. He was more intelligent than your average octopus and he and Arthur were very good friends. [Shitty babysitter, though]

Yes, of course! We'd be happy to have you.

I don't think I've spoken to an octopus before... [yes he is legit trying to remember here] I made friends with the Ophiotaurus, though. Do you have one of those at all? He's half cow, half sea serpent. [Percy named him Bessie]

According to Arthur, they're not that intelligent. More complex than typical fish but less complex than, say, a dolphin. [To be fair though, fish are kind of dumb] No, I don't believe we do. It sounds interesting though.
