Hello everyone. It's been a while since the last time I recorded a message. I'm Kara Zor-el, from Krypton. [ She smiles politely at the screen. It has been four months, and she hasn't been able to talk to every newcomer since then. And things have been busy. ]

I've been trying to get a lab together myself, but I'm just not familiar with the technology available here. I meant to ask earlier, but then... well, you know. [ Electric death fell from the sky! Not you, Livewire. ]

I know there are several people with access to labs already in place. I was hoping one of you might have an opening for a lab assistant. I was just finishing school on Krypton before [ it exploded ] I came here, but I come from a family of renowned scientists and I have worked in labs before. I want to help with the biological research, figuring out what's wrong with the turtle and working to find a cure.

I was given a few names by friends... Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner?

Not by my family's standards. [ Nobody is smart by her family's standards :| ]

From everything I've seen, Krypton was far ahead of Earth technologically. You can't really compare the two. [ This is her less modest way of being modest about her intelligence. ]

So basically, yeah you're way smart. [Welp, there goes any shot he might have had in impressing her... Not like his stunning intellect would ever do that.]

I can see what I can do about the tech here, but I'm more mechanical than scientific. How's life, by the way?

Life's alright, I guess. Really I just need to learn how to use the equipment that's available.

I'll help with what I can. Spent some time figuring the local stuff out - at least what I can access.

Pretty good, considering the ghost-aliens we had a little bit ago. I'm working to see if I can make anything useful out of the salvage I grabbed from the crashes. [ and behind him there'll be the room in his suite that Roy's turned into a work shop, bits and pieces of tech and tools scattered around with bows and arrows as well ]

[He doesn't remember her from his time as the Hulk, just that she'd answered Nita's post as capable of taking him on. So he's admittedly a little more interested in normal, because he did feel better spending time with people he wouldn't necessarily smush into a pulp if he lost control.]

Hi. That's me. Banner. [Yeah, he's smooth.] I wouldn't mind the help if you wanted to come in. I've done a little on the turtle's illness already, and I'm... looking into a private project right now, also biological.

[He's hesitant to invite someone else to look at his blood or his genetics even if it's to look into the cloning, which is a turtle-wide problem. Bruce will take a lot of convincing to let her in on that one. But there's plenty of other things he's been doing that he doesn't mind being open about.]

It's nice to meet you, Mister Banner. I'd love to help you if you'd let me. [ They could look at her blood, but it might be hard to get any.... ]

[He might just figure out a way if the result means he gets to look at alien blood, ngl.]

It's no problem. We're all stuck here, so we should... cooperate. [He says that like he's not sure what cooperation means, but is trying it out anyway.] What kind of experience do you have?

Scientist, huh? I hope you're able to find something that's just perfect for you. I think you'll be brilliant at it. Helping figure out the biological...research and everything.

What sort of idea?

Do you think maybe I could shadow you sometime if you work at a lab? I don't really know a lot, but it would be cool to learn.

I wouldn't mind if it's alright with Bruce. I'll be learning most of the equipment myself.

Would you ask him for me? I get the impression that he doesn't really like me.

Well, I know Dr. Banner's been working on a hydroponic garden that could always use some extra hands, plus a few other projects, including whatever's bothering the turtle. He and Mr. Stark are close, too, so it might be a good place to start.

Heck at the very least, you'd probably wind up being a more useful assistant than I am. I just handle the basic stuff, the science part of it's usually over my head. I was top in my science class, but it was my high school class. So I can only help with so much.

Bruce has offered to let me join him in the lab. I'm far more interested than helping the turtle than the hydroponic garden, though. I've never been very interested in gardening.
