refusing: (never fearing)

[Comfort from Jack has been sorely missed, and it definitely works to soothe her upset. She remains leaning up against him, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt, breathing in and out slowly as she listens to the details he provides her. If he's been in Cardiff for a while, that means he must be past her.]

Right, yeah, so last thing I remember was being on this asteroid...or planet, maybe? All that matters was we were stranded, the Doctor and I, on this awful impossible place. There was the devil there and everything and I thought I was gonna lose him.

[She hasn't talked to anyone about what happened back there, so this is her first time actually vocalizing her fear of what could have happened.]

But I didn't, 'course neither of us would let that happen. He fought, and I fought, and I ended up on the TARDIS. Or thought I was gonna, anyway. But then I just woke up here. I've been here for weeks, Jack. I mean, I met people and settled in as best as I could. And I'm living with a guy, Jim Kirk? He's my best mate here, him and Kyle. [She realizes she's throwing a lot of information at him as she becomes more nervous about revealing the next part. So she bites at her lip and just blurts it out.]

But none of them are the Doctor. I knew I had to find him, I couldn't just stay here. So I was thinking up ways to get out, and I kinda thought that maybe it'd be possible to get big holes in the universe here? Kinda like with the parallel world the Doctor and I saw not that long ago, make any kinda holes you can get to force your way out.

[Basically, she's incredibly guilty and trying to say she would put everyone here at risk in order to figure a way out. Please judge her now, Jack. Please.]
