Well, well. I do declare that this has to be the strangest place I’ve ever been shipped off to. You know…if I was used to getting transported to other dimensions. But a giant turtle. Can’t say you weren’t going for originality.

[The smile is starting to crack even more along the edges, showing just how annoyed she is with all of this. She woke up with no powers, no crashed Watchtower for her to dance over, and is just generally not in the best of moods.] Now we’re here for something and the blue man crew who gave me the little tour weren’t all that chatty. How helpful of them.

[Does she look innocent? Not really, but who wouldn’t be just a teensy bit annoyed at getting dragged to another world when they’re in the middle of something? How rude of...whoever the hell did this.] Tell me who I have to punch to get this over with so I can leave what is obviously the worst case of bad turtle hygiene ever. Otherwise, I might just have to pick whoever has the most punchable face and go down the line until I get somewhere. That's wasting time I don't have, because I'm on a schedule.

[The fact she can't access her powers and shouldn't be making such claims is a point she considered and then ignored in favor of threatening people.]

Your idea was to punch somebody. At least most of the others can figure out how to be useful.

Where I come from punching someone holding you against your will is a normal thing to do, not make yourself comfortable and call it "home."

What world are you from? [ That is a rhetorical question but feel free to answer regardless. ]

I never said it would be easy, but a girl's got to start somewhere and punching someone in the face is always better than crying and begging to go home. [She can show her how much better if she keeps pushing it.]

They sound about equally useless to me. If you're so desperate to go home, maybe you should volunteer at one of the labs that are working on exactly that? Or on the turtle's illness, so we don't all drown before someone finds a solution?

[She'll just ignore more of that because she doesn't care about "volunteering" for anything that doesn't involve her getting to punch something.] The turtle's sick? So what are we floating on a sinking ship?

We're floating on a living creature that is slowly dying.

Same thing, different words. Simple yes or no would have worked just fine. [She really cares not one bit about the turtle.]

How about something useful like why we're trapped on a reptile about to go belly up and capsize us all?

As far as anyone will admit, we're here to help the turtle.

[About as sensitive as whoever brought her here while she was in the middle of finally fulfilling her dream.]

Because kidnapping people is really the way to go about making them want to help. Their logic is stunning.

They're clearly desperate, and not accustomed to asking permission. [ She may not be so wary of their rulers anymore, but she doesn't have illusions about their kidness or honesty. ]

Keeping the turtle alive until you're able to leave seems to be the wisest option any of us have.

[Now she's just annoyed.] If it's not obvious I'm not some veterinarian. If the turtle's dying they're got the wrong girl to try and save it. So now only are they kidnappers, they're stupid about it.

[She kills people. She happens to be really good at it.]

Honestly, it seems mostly random. From time to time there are problems that can be solved with punching. We've suffered a few attacks.

Attacks? [Now you have her interest.] By who?

Several people. [ One of which she's not supposed to talk about. ] Once it was zombies, so I'm not sure that counts.

I get dropped here in the middle of the turtle dying and manage to miss out on zombies. I need to work on my timing.

So...how many people ended up dead?

[ She grimaces at the question. Really tho. ]

I don't know. I was unconscious for a lot of it.

[You can't mention zombies and have her not wonder how many people they ate.]

Sounds like the people around here aren't that useful when it counts.
