Usually he wouldn't even touch a computer, because there's the problems with being traced and found and then there's the whole slew of problems that come out of that, but. He just got dragged out of an ocean by some entirely new and fascinating lifeforms after dying or he's just hallucinating something spectacular while the other guy goes and deals with whatever he's dealing with. He's not sure which is actually happening, but.

So... Uh. [ A deep breath as he tries to blink himself into more alertness but. I thought doctors were well-paid, but if you insist you aren't used to this kind of luxury it must be one of those urban myths.

Maybe in the private sector, but I was just on the university circuit before, uh. ...I kind of went pro bono? Sort of. But-- Yeah. Research grants do not for penthouses make. Not in my experience anyway.
