[ Bruce drags a hand over his face before eying the feed carefully. Usually he wouldn't even touch a computer, because there's the problems with being traced and found and then there's the whole slew of problems that come out of that, but. He just got dragged out of an ocean by some entirely new and fascinating lifeforms after dying or he's just hallucinating something spectacular while the other guy goes and deals with whatever he's dealing with. He's not sure which is actually happening, but.

So... Uh. [ A deep breath as he tries to blink himself into more alertness but. There is a reason he's looking as raggedy as he does, and that was without an entre vous to turtletopia. ] L-look, I'm not trying to go and be, you know, rude or ungrateful or a-anything like that, but. This place is j- It's way, way too much for me, and. I mean, there's a swimming pool. Right in the next room over. And th- I'm not that guy.

[ He's rambling and he's tired, and. Shaking his head, he rubs at the back of his neck. ]

I don't know about friends, but. We kind of just met a day or so ago, but. I like him.

I think it might be impossible not to like him. [She has a very high opinion of Steve]

Sometimes they leave the turtle part out, but I'm not sure whether I'd have preferred that. It's probably the sort of thing you want to get over and done with.

Doubtful that it can be done with seeing as...You know. Going to still be on it. But. Yeah.

I assume that's supposed to mean something. [She knows he's Captain America, but she means that the title alone should mean something.]

There's no Captain America where I come from. Or anyone like that outside of comic books. [Did he actually make a coherent sentence at all there? Steph is a little baffled.

Also "I kind of count on it" is totally noted and filed. She's going to have to ask Steve about this guy] I guess "I wonder if I'm on a giant turtle" isn't a thought most people have.

Most likely not, but. Never know. Sometimes werid is a new kind of normal? I don't know.

No Captain America, no superheroes, nothing like that. We come from all different universes, not just different timelines.

I guess if they come from somewhere with giant turtles, they might. [a beat] I think this train of thought got away from us both.

[she kind of blames Bruce.]

No problem, I don't think the kedan really think about this sort of stuff? It's why the consoles are handy, we can share what we've learnt easily.

[Steph's smile is a little fond; Bruce kinda reminds her of Tim] If people have a lot of experience with giant turtles, I think I'd be concerned about their life choices.

Th- Never know. Maybe the giant turtles just happen, no choice involved. Let's not get all, uh, all judge-y before the herpetological facts are in.

Do giant turtles really just happen. I mean, once off is probably an accident, but after that you've really got to start thinking about the direction your life's gone in.
