Ah, such weariness upon me.
[ Those dear kedan had taught him how the use the device. It has taken a few hours but he gets the gist. No different than magic in the end. His head rests against the device for a second before he pulls back, pushing some of his hair behind one pointed ear. ]
I suppose that is to be expected. But it is nice to know that the one we shall call our emperor still stands so tall and strong... not at all burdened by having brought us here.
To think my children are brought with me, too... in the end, it is always one's children that saves them, isn't it? Gives them purpose. When fear would come to grip one's heart, one need only look at the little face and find their strength once more.
Still, I cannot seem to yet find my own. Ah, well. This is just the nature of things, isn't it? Especially when one knows that their Gods are mad.
