[An Asian-looking girl comes on the feed, hair held back in a high bun and large dark eyes watching the screen suspiciously. Her right hand is holding the loose portion of her shirt collar up to obscure her mouth while her left arm is clearly in a sling—though the more notable part of that is the fact that said arm appears to be encased in armor—because it couldn’t be made of metal, right?]
[A definite internal battle is going on here, and it’s fairly clear that she’s questioning whether using this… thing… is a good idea or not. And just when it seems she is finally going to speak, a very loud, very distinct, and completely unmistakable growl is heard. Her eyes go wide for a moment, followed by her cheeks going a brilliant shade of red almost instantly before her expression flattens out even more.]
Forget it…
[And her hand darts out to try to end the feed, letting her collar fall. She tries and fails several times just for inexperience before managing to actually end it.]
[ooc; SO LAN FAN NEEDS WORK DONE ON HER AUTOMAIL!!! :|a so if anyone wants to plot for repairs that would be TOTALLY AWESOME!!!]

video;
[But it's too late; the other girl is already gone. Youko huffs a small breath of frustration. Not much she can do other than reply and hope the other girl will hear.]
Are you all right?

[And... she has never seen someone with red hair. Ever. There were blonds all over Amestris, but red hair? Not at all.]
[Good thing about shutting this thing off? She isn't caught gaping at the screen.]
[After a good minute she moves to reply, quickly pulling her collar back up over her mouth.]
...
Yes...
[ooc; and then suddenly I wonder if I'm doin' it wrong D|]
You're fine! <3
[Lan Fan's reappearance sparks immediate relief on Youko's face, her serious features softening.]
I saw the sling and thought you might be hurt.
<3!
[Her eyes dart to her shoulder for a moment and back to the screen. She was hurt. Her automail and possibly even the port itself needed repair, but calling attention to it when she was unsure of her surroundings and her exact situation did not seem wise--but then again, leaving it in its current state was worse.]
...
My arm is in need of repairs...
no subject
Repair? [This prompts a sharper blink, and a widening of the eyes. "Repair" isn't usually the word one uses for flesh and bone.]
no subject
...
[She hesitates a moment, avoiding lifting her hand to her shoulder.]
Are you familiar with automail?
no subject
I'm afraid I'm not. Is it a type of armor? [The outside does look to be metal, at least.]
. . . Or the arm is mechanical itself? [So strange, this idea. But . . . probably no stranger than anything else she's seen in the last couple of years.]
. . .
I did meet a man who said he was an engineer. He claimed to be good with all types of mechanics. Perhaps he could help.

[She listens and nods.]
Do you have a name...?
no subject
Youko Nakajima. Just Youko is fine.

[And then there is a scramble to get the feed back on.]
Young master--
[Of course she almost knows that isn't the case... but Greed was...]
no subject
Uh...No actually. Just Greed.
[and he could almost feel himself holding his breath]
no subject
You--you're...
[She just flops back against the chair she had sat down in to poke at this thing.]
...
How...?
[Of course she had been told all of this. But being told a concept was different than understanding and accepting it.]
no subject
But more important than that...why are YOU here?
no subject
[But they said it was in between dreaming and death--]
[She looks up again and not caring about the fact that this system had just been explained to her and that it was only a flat display image she reached out abruptly and set her hand flat against the screen trying to touch his face, trying to prove to herself that he was there--and her frustration was seen on her face at that.]
...
I don't know...
[Still touching the screen--if he can tell that's what she's doing anyway]
Master Ling... is not with you...?
no subject
No he's not here. You oughta know that ninja girl. You separated us yourself. [Unless there was some time difference, and she hadn't reached the final battle yet...that could make things a little more awkward]
no subject
But his body-- [The accusation was absent from her voice, as if in just the last 24 hours she had accepted him as a non-threat. But then, with his sacrifice to save Ling... how could she truly remain resentful?] How do you have his body again?

Video;
Hey. Tony Stark. I here you need some help in the mechanics department.
Video;
[It takes her a few minutes to respond if for no other reason than it seems shocking that she's gotten a response so quickly... when she wasn't the one to track him down.]
[She seems uncertain whens he finally comes on the feed.]
...
Did Youko Nakajima speak to you?
no subject
[ If there's one thing about which Tony has complete confidence, it's machines and he knows, without a doubt, that he can fix this one. ]
no subject
[But this wasn't her world, and people here didn't necessarily have a reason to harm her, so she knew she was being over-cautious...]
Are you familiar with automail...?

It is a prosthetic, bolted to my body and attached directly to my nerves so that I can move the arm naturally.
...
I am not certain what is wrong, but the damage is in the port. I'm certain I have a nerve exposed in the port.

[ It's a fight, but he resists the urge to tap his fingers against his chest. ]
I can look it over. Run a few scans on it. See what's broken and have you up and running again in no time.

'Scans'...?
[Yay for early 1900's technology awareness...]
