[ After reeling from what he's learned yesterday and realizing when he woke up today that this wasn't a freaky vivid dream, Isaac can be seen at one of the consoles in a console cafe. He's wearing the same clothes he showed up in. He's not so happy about it. ]

You guys really take these sectors literally, don't you? I literally live in the fire sector. It's everywhere. And gives off no heat. So, that's weird.

Also, internet cafes. Making a comeback. [ But, getting to the point. ] So, I have a few questions. Anyone can answer since this reaches everyone. Who would've thought, privacy, being an antiquated idea. [ Is something antiquated if it's not in the past but in another universe? So. ] Any modern clothing around here? I'd take anything in a V-neck. A sensible sweater. I like stripes. [ And scarves. Something decidedly not Chinese. ]

And does anybody think it's completely ridiculous that we're living on a giant turtle? Anybody? [ Bueller? ]

Also, policy on guests. I have friends [ friend, and one Stiles ] here and I'm pretty sure I have the nicest digs out of everyone. It's my place, right? All two stories? [ All his? If so, it's an amazing change of pace. ] Also. Cooking lessons. Pretty much realizing I can't. And this suite has a bitchin kitchen.

Also, I saw a guy advertise himself to get a job. Help with some kind of work. I feel like I should get a job. Earn my really nice keep. [ Seriously, that suite! ]

And finally, anyone ever think life can't get any worse and then it just does? [ That last one might be a rhetorical question. Though, it is a little good not to be surrounded by darachs and alphas. ] Funny how that works. But, hey, glad to know it's not me.

[There's a snort before she grins and shakes her head.] That would depend. I can tell you where some of the best places to eat are, or some shortcuts between the sectors. But in general, this place has that whole 'mystery wrapped in an enigma' thing going. [She shrugs.]

Considering the size of this place? Totally helps. [Hmmm.] There's a great coffee shop in Earth that has the best cookies, now that rationing is over. And Water is a pretty good place for all of your sushi needs, pretty cheap too. [Except she gets all her meals for free there now, oops.] There's this one sitting right next to the fishing lure shop that not a lot of people go to. They're really friendly.

All the houses in Wood are in trees. It's their theme. You get fountains of fire, we get to live in giant trees.

Does it smell like a tree? [ Isaac Lahey and priorities. ]

[Well... She guesses that's an important question.] Sort of? It smelled like rotting wood for a few months during the decay, but I guess there's a certain tree smell now.

Did you stay at a friend's place? [ During that time. ] How is there plumbing?

[No because that would have made her a burden...] Nope. The entire turtle was decaying. I don't think it would have made much difference to trade one disaster for another. [A shrug.] You've just been ripped from another dimension to fight an ancient evil while living on the back of a massive turtle, and you're asking about plumbing in trees?

Not sure. We've only recently found out about the whole thing the past couple of months, and the people who have been here the longest have been around for a year now. So...
