That was definitely a fun trip, but I’m so glad to be up in the sun again. I don’t like all that darkness, and being under the water… it feels so trapped. [ Not to mention what happened the last time. Kara is not going to focus on that though, and she smiles brightly. ]

So now that we’ve got the sun back, who wants to hang out? I was going to do a little shopping, maybe go swimming. Ah… I know there was a little confusion the last time, but it really seems like most people prefer to be covered when they swim? [ Is that a blush? Maybe just a little. One can only take so many odd looks, you know. ] So I think it would be best if everyone wore swim gear. Just so we’re all clear on that.

Man, tell me about it. I mean the place was cool if you were in alright places, but the lack of sun was a major killer. Kinda like the feeling of the sun and seeing the clouds. [Even though he can't get to them, it's still nice to see. Also, let's have awkward times!]

I've seen every member of my family naked, and they've all seen me. Rao, I changed Kal's diapers more than once.

[The workbench Jor-El has set up on the suite's ground floor is near the console. Not within view of its camera, but near enough to it that even without superpowered hearing he would be able to hear the console's audio.

Kal-El's initial interjection at Kara's words result in him turning to look at his son for a brief moment.

After Kara's question and Kal-El's admonishment using Kon-El's entire name, rather than merely shortening it as most others did, he returned his full attention to what he was working on.

As amusing as it was, some things were better left unsaid.]
