Boys, I know you're busy with your baking or whatever you're up to [what's up with that by the way?] but I'm here now so why don't you come out, come out, wherever you are?

[Ending with a sing-song voice, she addresses anyone else who might be paying attention to her feed.]

To the rest of you, that's one hell of a song and dance they do for you back at the palace, isn't it? Too bad it's probably full of lies or something.

[Her smile fades as she makes a face and gives a deliberate, dramatic sigh.]

Considering a bunch of us just spent a few weeks tripping through archways into the other planes? I'd say that there's as much proof as you believe a bunch of people saying they experienced the same thing.

...Huh. That's actually pretty smart, I didn't even think about doing that when I got here. Then again, I wasn't really expecting to find anyone I knew, either.

[Okay, Catty. You earn a couple points back for calling her smart. She loses just a little bit of an edge from her tone.]

What's this about the archways though? I saw a post or two about it but didn't look too much into it.

[Catty notices the way the edge fades, and a smile flickers across her lips. Something in her own countenance softens in response]

Asti - that's the turtle - dives sometimes. There was a dead turtle on the sea floor that had a bunch of archways on it. If you stepped through one at the wrong time or place, you'd end up on different plane. Or maybe a different dimension. I heard the Dreaming one wasn't so bad, but Death was pretty awful. Taking your worst fears and throwing them back at you, that sort of thing. I guess this is the Life plane, or something.

[Fun. They're at the whims of a giant reptile that like to go swimming to visit its dead friends with weird alternate dimensional doorways.]

Not sorry I missed it. Any chance we can get off of this animal? Head back to our right time and place?

So far as I can tell, none whatsoever. [She doesn't seem too concerned about this at all] Some people think that when others disappear, they go back home. But I'm not convinced.

Not theories. Experiences. How many people do you need to say they went through the same thing before you consider it proof that it happened?

More than a few.

[She pauses a moment.]

How many of us did they take here anyway?

There's definitely more than a few. If you go back through the network, you should be able to see people talking about it. And it shouldn't be too hard to find other people who went through the same thing, if you ask around.

[She shakes her head] A couple hundred, maybe? Definitely more than one hundred, but I wouldn't say more than three. It fluctuates. People disappear, come back again, remember they were here, have no idea they were here before. They don't make it easy to figure out what's going on, basically. We're here to kill the Big Bad, and that's about all we know.

[Erica snorts. It's a lot of good information she's getting from Catty, but nothing she can actually use at the moment. She files it away for later.]

Do we know anything about the Big Bad? What it is? It's name or weaknesses?

We know...pretty much nothing. I know its name, but I can't tell you what it is. Not unless we're in the palace, which I guess is protected. Oh, I guess it lives in that Death realm I was telling you about earlier? And we've been calling it Mally for lack of a better term. Which kind of helps, actually. You know, fear of the name only increases fear of the thing itself. [She sure just Harry Potter'd at you, not that she expects Erica to catch that. Judging by appearances? Absolutely]

Right, okay. Diminutive names are the way to go, not the real name.

[She's read the books. Seen the movies. She gets what Catty is talking about.]

So what's your story then? Where are you from?

Basically. Someone already used the real name, and it showed up on the network all creepily. If you go back, you'll pobably be able to see it.

[Oh, that's almost halfway friendly. It gets another smile from Catty] I'm from LA! Uh, California, United States, Earth. Not everyone's from the same place, or even the same version of the same place. Inter-dimensional travel isn't exactly a new thing for me, but this is definitely the first time I've been on the back of a giant turtle.

Beacon Hills, California here, but I can't say trips between dimensions is something they offer at the travel agencies or anything. How'd you do it?

Beacon Hills? Do you know Isaac? [She looks a little sheepish here] It wasn't exactly voluntary the first time, either.

You'll have to tell me about it sometime, but yeah, I know Isaac.

[And Erica actually gives a genuine smile saying his name. He's her friend, after all. Packmate. Someone she clicks with which is a lot for Erica, considering how things were pre-Bite.]

Scott and Stiles who are here too. You know them?

[Catty knows that kind of smile, can understand it. Even if she doesn't know about the whole pack thing] Um, not personally. I mean, Isaac mentioned that they want to sleep together, but other than that, I don't really know them.

[Her own smile, tugging at her lips, sort of says that she totally knows her words can be read less than innocently.]

Yeah I heard about that too.

[And she knows how innocent it is. Or at least, she has no reason to assume it isn't innocent.]

They're alright. Harmless for the most part.

[Which is the simple way of avoiding explanations of how she had a crush on Stiles for forever, hit on Scott, told his girlfriend she wanted to steal Scott from her, etc. etc. etc.]
