TEXT

[Well... this had not been a great day for Donatello so far. He was used to strange things happening in his life after is many crazy things, but being sent into some other dimension was NOT something that he had been planning. Finding out that he was basically stuck in this world that he was being told was some kind of afterlife didn't help his growing bad mood and worry either, not to mention that he had yet to see nay of his family... if they were even here at all.

Now that he had been placed in his room, he had time to think. He certainly wanted to get more info about this place, to see if there was anything else that eh should know that he hadn't been told of already. But he wasn't going to go out in person to find out either, he would only freak people out with his appearance. So the next best thing to do would be to send a text message and hope that someone would respond so that he could figure things out.

It was his best shot.]

Umm... hi. Sorry if this is interrupting anything, but I just arrived here and I was hoping that someone may be able to help me. I just want to know a little more about this place, such as if anything really big happened that I may need to know about, and if there is even a slight possibility that there is a way out.

Also, I'm... looking for a few others. So if anyone can give me any information on these individuals, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

[That would have to do. He sent the message, hoping that someone would see it... that if his brothers were here, they would see it.]

[Leo takes that explanation easily. He's always been good at thinking on his feet, and it sounds like whatever happened, he handled it just fine.]

Glad to hear it.

So, did the locals give you their song-and-dance about getting a job? [Leonardo still finds the concept somewhat laughable, although he has engaged in barter which in the end is a similar accomplishment. The idea of punching a timecard – not to mention being in a predictable place every day – goes against every grain in his carapace. As for employment that utilizes both his skill set and allows for stealth? He hasn't found a single one that agrees with his conscience, and the job market for protective escorts has no shortage of competition.

They've always scrounged just fine without much money, and it works here too.]
