[Bart has gotten clothes that fit and has finished internally flipping out enough that he can handle making a console post. He saw how crazy the posts had been earlier, and he was so not up for that. ]

Anyone who points out the obvious and says omigod you're older will be ignored until I figure out how to ban them.

[um. Maybe he's still not all that up for it.]

Has everyone been accounted for? I know a lot of people are in a tizzy right now, but... there's people I haven't seen in the past 24 hours, and I really want to make sure there's no 9 month olds crawling into a well.

[There's a little cringe at the thought.]

Sorry for the mental image. In other news, I'm thinking of teaming up with Dick to make chili cheese dogs. Anyone have suggestions for meat and preservative substitutes?

[Private to Dinah]

If you aren't spitting fireballs or glowing like Three Mile Island or dealing with extra body parts and you're between the ages of say 16 and 50, could you squeeze me in for a few lessons at the Dojo? Might as well get something out of all of this.

[encrypted 50% to Barry]

I... kinda need a favor. Zee's spell screwed with more than ages, and Tim's a little hyper. It's not a good look on someone that uptight and wound. So - look, I know that there's probably nothing you can do, but if you could drop by, I'd owe you one. We're at ME-2B.

[He rubs at the back of his neck. Bart really hates having to ask for help. It's like admitting that they can't handle it. Plus, it's Barry, so it really doubles that. He doesn't want to look like a screw up in front of the Flash, especially when Barry barely knows him so there's not a huge body of evidence to be judged on. The lack of a relationship makes asking for a favor even harder. He feels like he's being an intrusion.]

You know, if you have time.

[Private to Kon]

You wanna just crash here for now? I'd feel better about this whole deal.

Stop eavesdropping and hacking. I know you're doing it. Don't lie. You're bored.

[Baseline encryption to Hayley]

[He's had some time to cool off and draw some parallels to friends of his, and now Bart feels like mud for crapping on her friendship, sven if it WAS Lex.]

I'm sorry about what I said the other day. It's not fair to judge him on what he was in my world. Maybe he'll never be that. I hope that's the case.

[The console ID is definitely right but the voice....is probably not, about an octave or two higher than usual. The appearance is also definitely not right, hence why Barry's sticking to voice for the time being.]

Of course. I've got plenty of time.

[The two of them are still on shaky ground, but Bart's family and that's all that matters when push comes to shove.]

There's probably...less that I can do for the next few days than usual, though. Just as a heads up.

[As if the voice wasn't enough of a giveaway.]

[Don't think he doesn't hear that first part, Bart, though he's less annoyed by it than amused. Not that he's necessarily entertained by being two feet shorter than usual but hey, it could be worse.]

You're watching out for him and that's already doing a lot.

[And then, just because:] How'd they jinx it, by the way?

You could try a leash. Unless he's learned how to vibrate through things already.

[OKAY IT SOUNDS KIND OF INHUMANE but dire circumstances call for dire solutions. Also he did technically use Digger's scarf as a leash once when he had to keep an eye on the Rogue so. It's not completely unfounded.]

And considering I was fine yesterday, it seemed like it would've been a safe enough assumption to make. [Too bad it wasn't.] Do things like this usually happen here?

[Barry is going to assume that by 'spook' Bart means Bruce.]

If he didn't have one, I'd be surprised. [The man has a plan for everything, even situations no one else expects will ever happen.] I can try asking but I'm not sure he'd tell me.

[Which is only fair. It wouldn't really make sense for him to learn about contingency plans centered specifically around his powers if something were to go wrong. That, and Barry isn't particularly sure he wants to know the types of things that have been set up.

The rationing sounds difficult though, and Barry's infinitely glad that same thing isn't happening now.

And then, because contingency plans is really a horrible note to end on:]

So. Chili cheese dogs, huh?

[All three of those sound amazing good and Barry is infinitely glad that someone on the turtle, at least, has a good sense of what's delicious and what's not. Jor-El buddy, he's lookin' at you.]

You'll have to let me know how it goes.

[It's said with a smile because he honestly is interested. The smile fades though as Barry flounders around for what to say next. For all that slowing down and taking the time to talk with those he knows is easy as pie to him most days, talking to Bart is still strangely hard.]

Maybe in person. I'll drop by in a bit to check in on Tim.

[That's...not too awkward, right?]

[Barry will definitely keep it in mind. He doesn't know how often he'll be dropping in; much as he likes the idea of lounging around and eating foods that remind him of home, he doesn't know how comfortable he'll be around what'll no doubt be a group of teenagers he's completely unfamiliar with.

But he notes the days anyway and gives Bart a nod.]

Anytime. [He means that, at least.] I'll be over soon.

[And with that, he disconnects.]
