[The feed turns on, the signal coming from Robert Lutece's console - and there he is, standing in front of the camera...in what appear to be Rosalind's clothes. They're a bit too small, and his waist is cinched in...he's got a corset on. Deadpan, he addresses the camera.]

Good evening. I am Robert Lutece.

I would just like to say...I am a complete buffoon. If I weren't so busy secretly wearing my sister's clothes while she isn't home, I might actually take a moment to listen to her. She's had a hard time of things during all this, and I haven't been nearly sensitive enough. I'm a complete idiot. Here I am, telling her to be more social...just so I can lark about at home.

I am...ashamed.

If we're being factual, all three of us are only children, aren't we?

...I think you're going to have to back that up and explain that one.

Well, scientifically, we are not actually twins. It's all very strange and murky science, even when you have all the equations in front of you. It makes sense but it doesn't.

So, even Robert [Rosalind B|] and I had lonely upbringings, and neither of us would know the true cruelty a sibling has with another.

You're both being plenty cruel right now as it is.

[His tone's gone flat. Sei is very, very disappointed in you two.]

That's merely the standard self-loathing one feels when looking at themself in the mirror.

[Whoops, Robert doesn't care that much right now, but he will regret it later.]

Self-loathing would require her to still be the same self, wouldn't it.

[SHRUG.] Regret's seen in the mirror often enough, too. Or is that already the problem?

We are the same self, just from different angles.

I live with many regrets. None of them revolve around her. [That's not gonna be the case later tonight as he cries over a pint of ice cream or something.]

It's kind of a weak justification, don't you think?
