[ When the feed comes on, Isaac is giving as close a smile as he can. He's not a grinning guy, so it's somewhere between a smirk and a genuine smile. He's also back in his own body. It's a good week. ]

Question. Is anyone sick of having to be in one place to check messages and send them? I don't know about you guys, but I miss phones. And texting. Texting made everything so easy. [ Not to mention, it kept people safe. Instantaneous danger alert, natch. ] Anybody able to come up with some sort of phone prototype? I'd ask if magic can convert a phone or something - cause there's magic here - but, mine is still in the cradle of the car I was driving. So, I want the next best thing. I'd even say some sort of weird telepathy thing could be cool but nobody should be inside my mind. And I don't care what you're all thinking.

[ Also, gross, being inside someone's mind. Switching gears. ]

Also. I feel like my circle of social interaction is limited. No offense to people from Beacon Hills, but I'm used to the small town high school atmosphere. Even being infamous was better than this. So, I'm looking for some friends. I have one really, [ A beat as he considers this ] really good friend. [ Because, what is he going to define right now? ] And I think I had a friend who I pissed off and then there's Erica but there should be more, right? That's what being a teenager is about? Friends and stuff? Since I can't go to school, I want the school experience.

Also, sports. I play lacrosse - if anybody knows what I'm talking about. And thanks to gym class, I've played everything from badminton (no) to basketball (sure, I'm tall) - anybody into organizing something? I even ran cross-country. So, finding some guys to run with. Could be cool.

[ He has all this excess energy, sue him. ]

Also - parties. Specifically, raves? Clubs? Anything like that here?

I think we're both Scott's sidekicks. He's too much of a natural leader to be anything else.

[And that could have set off another firestorm. But here at the turtle's head, Stiles finally sees that for what it is; Isaac claiming his place in the world, refusing to be put down anymore.]

...You're right. I think I prefer "pack" to sidekick anyway.

[ And that is better. Because, like it or not, they were both Scott's pack, now. Somehow. Without an alpha and all. ]

Yup. I think you're right. I mean, I've always been part of his pack.

So. I guess this makes us pack mates. Packsters? Packists? I don't know, pack mates sounds weird.

Packmates. We're packmates. Or, just pack. They both work. [ Don't make it a thing. ] Erica, too. [ A beat, though, a bit of a pry. The only one. ] You know she likes you, right?

Just pack. Works for me.

[But then Erica is brought up. And he kinda winces.]

Yeah. I know. She told me. We talked about a lot of stuff. The problem is...I don't like her like that. I like her! She's a great girl. But I've never really seen her that way. You know? You do know, right?

I didn't before. I do now. I won't ask why. [ Same reason he'll never get a boner from thinking of Stiles. ] Thought I'd try. Don't tell her I said anything. She'd kill me.

[Exactly. Sometimes there's just no chemistry, no matter how hard somebody pushes. Stiles, pay attention, there's a lesson to be learned here, it starts with L and ends with ydia.]

No, it's cool. I won't. I get that you're looking out for her. Just like I do with Scott.

[ Maybe he is learning. Maybe they're all learning. Isaac's anger has lessened considerably here. Any chance there's a Scott-related reason. ]

Yeah. You know, I was jealous of you and Scott. What you guys have. [ Putting it all on the table. ]

Heh. Funny. I was jealous of you. Scott's my brother, and my best friend. I was afraid you'd turn him against me.

[Again, it's a good thing they're here at the turtle's head, it keeps Stiles from feeling the angst.]

I've seen Scott in love before. He's treating you the same way he treated Allison. If you ever want to get into his console? Betcha ten juulan that he's changed his username and password to Isaac.

[ Just give him a second. ] ... Scott does that?

Uh huh.

It's embarrassing.

What's the point of password protection in that case?

It's Scott. It's just how he works.

You think it's already that serious.

Yup.

Scott's the kind of guy that gives his heart completely. There's no holding back with him.

You know I'm not gonna hurt him, right?

...Yeah?

[He sounds so tentative, so scared. Honestly, he's not sure of that at all. All he's ever seen out of Isaac are violent, aggressive tendencies, snarling at the world. So it's taking all of his scattered focus to remember that Scott won't be literally hurt by this guy.]

Scott's been there for me. Always has, even when we didn't see eye to eye. I care a lot about him and I trust him with my life. I'm not going into this thinking... Look, things don't work out for me. Ever. But, I want this to. And that's the first time I've ever said that. [ Out loud and at all. ]

[That breaks Stiles' heart a little, and he frowns.]

Like I said. Be honest, be open with him, let him be himself. Don't get violent or aggressive if things go really bad. B-...aaaaasically don't pull an Allison.

[Oh how he hates saying that. But it's true. Allison went off the deep end after her mother died. Isaac knew that better than anybody.]
