[Sabriel dressed up for this message- she's wearing her mail and surcoat, with a bandolier of seven bells slung over her chest.]
I'm sure we all know by now that we were brought here to fight something... very powerful. And I know that not everyone has the means to do so. [And Sabriel pushes some hair out of her face, revealing the faint mark on her forehead, and she draws a symbol in the air, the lines glowing briefly before collapsing into a single point of light.]
I am a Charter Mage, and I have the power to baptize others into the Charter, giving them the ability to draw on it to cast magic. Charter Magic can be used to heal and protect, as well as bespell items and create bindings. I believe that having more people who are able to use it will help in dealing with what we're here to face.
I want to warn any potential students that magic is not a toy, and that once given, a baptism cannot be undone. Being careless with it can be dangerous, and there will be consequences if I find anyone abusing it.
Also, for those more interested in theory than practice, I teach a class at the school.
[ooc: And now for the details. Sabriel can only give magic to characters that don't already have powers- there are five slots remaining, further info is here.]

People may not be ready, but they'll at least be prepared.

Wait. ]
So you can just hand out magic to anyone? Just like that?
[ McCoy might be a little skeptical. It's hard to tell, really. ]

How, exactly, are you definin' power here? I'd think a human would make a poor student since they are generally psi null...

And by 'power' I mean... anything that would be considered 'superhuman' by most people here.

I'd like to sit in on one of your classes. When do you usually teach?
