[ Olivia's got her standard smile on, but for people who know her, her voice and smile have a forced edge to them. Which makes sense given the opening of her post. ]

That being said! The bakery is still going to open within the next few weeks. We've been working hard to get the building in shape and perfect our recipes, so I expect to see all of you there sooner or later. I'll make an announcement when we open for good. Like I said, should be soon baring, oh, an invasion of rabid zombie turkeys or whatever disaster is flavor of the week.

I long for the day that baked goods can repel a rabid zombie turkey, honestly. Can you imagine?

That would have to be pretty offensive baked goods.

Okay, think about it. If it's going to destroy a rabid zombie turkey it has to be pretty deadly.

I'm pretty sure it has to be the opposite of deadly, actually. Given that zombies are already-- you know. Dead.

It's time to make some High Life Eggs! Calling this a Bishop tradition is maybe a little misleading since my father never cooked. I actually learned the recipe from one of the less odious doctors at St. Clare's. Have you ever heard of High Life Eggs? [He sets about to warm up a pan on the stove.]

[ The storm that is Walter has arrived! But she's glad for it, because he's the last bit of home she has left, and he's lovely anyway. She follows him into the kitchen and stands around a little uselessly, a bit lost even in her own house, and shakes her head. ]
