Okay, so the idea of going to another world isn’t exactly new for me, but having it actually happen? Yeah, that’s pretty surprising. Man, Jane would flip if she knew about this! Also, the giant turtle thing? Crazy. But also pretty damn cool.

So anyway! Seeing as I’m stuck here for now, I should probably introduce myself. I’m Darcy: a severely underpaid intern who just earned her degree. Seriously, I didn’t even have time to celebrate before I turned up here. Looking forward to meeting all my turtle-neighbors, though. I don’t suppose this is some secret part of Asgard, is it? That’s the only other world I’m that familiar with.

Oh, and one more thing. I should probably ask this just in case: is there a Jane Foster or Erik Selvig here? Erik might be a little on the, erm, nutty side at the moment? Happens when you get an alien poking around in your head, I guess.

How so?

Mostly in the form of aliens attacking Earth.

Though, to be fair I was only personally involved the first time that happened.

Which aliens were these?

First time it was a destroyer sent by Loki, which apparently is not the Loki who's here technically.

Second time is was an army called the Chitauri, again, brought by Loki. That was in New York, and I was in Norway at the time.

Why does Loki attack Earth?

From what I can tell, an inferiority complex.

And his brother Thor assisted the Terrans in staving off this attack?

Yeah. Without him and the other Avengers the Earth would have been royally screwed.

Who are the Avengers?

Um...basically? A group of super heroes? There's honestly a lot of hush-hush about some of them so I'm not really an expert.

I will ask Thor. [ He's very honest, maybe Spock can dredge up something with him. The shift in conversation puts Spock's attention back on Darcy. ] The weather is turning colder. Heating may be expensive but I have a spare fire stone courtesy of Doctor McCoy that you may claim for your own, if you want it. They are best kept in pockets when outside the house.
