[One Asgardian All Mother plus one communication console is complete madness. It takes much meddling and tinkering until it's finally adjusted to her liking.

After more than enough jostling and wobbling of the camera the owner sinks back into their chair, sitting upright, almost severely. Her expression is benign if not somewhat inquiring.]

What an extraordinary wonder that such a small portal should be able to ferry my image to the entirety of this island. [Asgard has technology, just nothing quite like this so forgive her if she doesn't readily believe it.] It has also been told that I should be able to communicate to all with this curious device.

[She's skeptical, but willing to keep an open mind. How's that for progressive?]

It appears the small box of wonders is very much alive, though without an incantation of sorts how can one be entirely certain that they are making contact? [Because keys are for locking and unlocking things, not for sending messages...let's hope she doesn't try to use the keyboard for some unintended purpose.] Nevertheless, I pray that this finds you well residents of the World Turtle.

[World Turtle...it's kind of like the World Serpent, but with less Jörmungandr and a great deal more tortoise.

With that established, this finely dressed Asgardian queen hopes that her message will get across to...well...whomever. She's not feeling particularly fussy at the moment and beggars can't be choosers.]

I am anxious to know if among those that reside here there exists an Asgardian presence, specifically I seek audience with Thor, Loki, or Odin...one or all, it matters not to me [all would be her preference, but you can't always have everything, can you?]...though contact with anyone from Asgard would be most assuring. For any information provided you will have the unending gratitude of Frigga, Queen of Asgard.

[It's not as easy as dismissing an illusion, but Frigga has already learned that if she does everything that she did to turn on the magic box, in reverse, then she can cut off it's...life force? Really. Computers are living things.]

Having my child with me would purely be a blessing, I can see nothing mixed in this. [That doesn't mean she will not pause for contemplation on the matter.] I would prefer it if they were all present, naturally, but if wishes were horses, then beggars would ride.

[Days Weeks have passed since Thor witnessed the events that trimmed the tree of the Asgardian royal family. Not a sunrise or sunset has passed since where he didn't dwell on it during the twilight before and after sleeping.

On this morning, before he could even gather his thoughts, the voice he heard on the console struck him still. Often did he leave it on, since it was so much easier than trying to remember how exactly to turn it off. Minutes went by as he sat at the console and simply stared. This was his mother, here.

In the realm between Life, Dreaming, and Death.

Finally, he turns on the video feed.]

Asgardians are few, but we are here with all the heart inspired by our King and Queen.

[An unexpected breath escapes him as he smiles.]

[Of all of the nine realms, few faces bring her more pleasure than the one finally deciding to grace her presence, and Frigga has waited very patiently to hear from any one member of her family. It's not the whole, but even just a fraction is such a well-made endeavor that she cannot complain.

Although, it is very difficult trying to curb her enthusiasm.]

I find the representation to be quite adequate, my son.

[As she is Frigga she certainly knows that something is amiss, especially with her own child, but says nothing. Instead she returns the smile with one of her own.]

Have you been faring well on this World Turtle?

[You know, eating, sleeping, staying warm and fit...all of these things.]

Glad to see we're gettin' more than just gutter-dwellin' trash bein' brought here. It's to be expected, the proletariate castes always outnumber the sovereign caste. Hardly means their ilk make for proper - let alone good - company.

[He knows Loki, but he figures by now people will be tripping over themselves to answer her, so why not use this opportunity to just get acquainted with fellow royalty? That seems like a way better venue for his time.]

[Septimus recognizes two of those names, having watched the Network from time to time--he doesn't know much about them, just that they exist--and he almost, almost doesn't answer because he's still holding mixed feelings about the thought of dealing with ruling families.

But her manner reminds him a little of his own mother, though a little less earthy and warm--and then he catches sight of her chat with Eridan.

The long, rich bout of laughter that rings out might not be on video--but his smile and brightly dancing green eyes are.]

I haven't had made the acquaintance of either Thor, or Loki, my lady, but it's an honor to make yours. [He inclines his head--not quite a bow, but certainly indicative of it.] Septimus, at your service.

As a mother I probably have the loftiest of opinions where my children are concerned, I confess myself completely biased, but I would not discourage you from seeking them out. [Of course she is well aware that her children have separate personalities and that these personalities might be up to taste, but she very much enjoys their company.

[But if he did, he would totally want to know more about them, because Frigga's garb is some of the most interesting he's seen about the turtle. And it's certainly unique.]
