[Uncharacteristically, Nita's not making a video post. That is because, as a handful of people know, she got burned rather badly during the fire. It's not life-threatening for her, but she's just vain enough not to want to show it off all over the network before she stops looking like barbecued tuna.

So, voice. She sounds only slightly less chipper than usual.]

I wanted to let people know I can't start sword lessons for another couple of weeks. I'm gonna be on the injured list 'til then. Sorry I disappeared for the last few days. I'm fine! I just hurt my arm and can't do anything until it heals up.

[This must be some strange new definition of "fine" unique to Atlanteans.]

So that's what's up. Sorry about the delay!

I got burned.

[She knows that's bad news in a human, so she hurries to reassure him:]

It's okay! I heal a lot faster than humans do. I just have to stay in the water most of the time and it's super-boring.

[Which, frankly, is more of a motivator for Nita to play it safe(r) than the threat of injury itself is.]

....So take a really long bath, or what?

Favrielle knocks on the door, wondering if Nita might prefer her to let herself in, seeing as she was injured. She tries the door handle.]

[Which is not strictly an untruth, since she's much tougher and more resilient than a normal person, but she knows she's right on the edge of what would be considered "life-threatening" in a human. She's a horrible liar, even when it's a lie of misdirection, and it shows in her voice.]
