[Kal's audio post is short, and to the point. In his world the chance that someone would gt to know Superman and Clark Kent at the same time and they didn't already know about his secret was minimal, and even then he'd worked so hard to keep those aspects of his life apart it wasn't a conscious act anymore. He could play little tricks to make sure no one could get a decent image of him, even.

But that's harder to do in here where everybody got to meet Kal-El and Clark Kent at the same time, and the number of people who could actually be Superman was limited. Thus, he has to be more careful.]

I'm making this post to offer my help rebuilding those houses that were burned to the ground or somehow affected by what happened on that night. My name is Superman, and I'd of course not require any payment, at all. I'm afraid the materials aren't a thing I can produce- but this is not a momentary offer, any time anyone needs some help rebuilding their houses I'll be happy to lend a hand and use my powers to help.

[Well, that's said and done. He then pauses... and sighs.]

And second, a question that's less urgent. I'd like to know if anybody knows for sure what happens to those of us who... disappear and are nowhere to be found on the turtle. And if you have theories about it I'd like to know about them, too.

[That's... clearly the voice of a man who's lost someone recently. Losing what was for a while the only remains of your family, again? Never gets easy.]

[Clark sees the message and the hidden glare behind the apparently inoffensive Brucie look. Superman replies to it with a big grin that's all man of steel, the one he uses for kids so they go home feeling something nice has happened to them. Superman has noticed them! Personally! The smile that everybody loves.

The smile that he knows damn well gets on Bruce's nerves.]

It won't be just you, and I could fix any mistakes you could make. A man that can re-build Wayne Enterprises from scratch in just a couple of months is surely not afraid of getting his hands a little dirty?

[Damn you, Kal. Bruce's smile is charming and only the slightest bit fixed. Clark knows exactly what he's doing, and Bruce doesn't like the idea that he's being outmanoeuvred by one of his oldest friends in a public forum.]

Well, if it's for a good cause...

[A haphazard shrug.]

Then I guess you've talked me into it.

[Kal will make sure to contact Bruce later, make sure he doesn't feel forced to come just because he teased him some. But honestly? This could actually be good for him. He hopes he'll come help.]

I'm sure it will at least be good publicity.

Then I guess we'd better make sure the press are there to capture it, hm?

That is a wonderful idea. I think my favorite reporter is in this place actually, I'm sure she'd be delighted to get an exclusive.

Maybe over lunch. Do you know where she likes to dine?

At home with her husband, I'd think.

[But Kal has long gotten over his jealous streak, what kind of husband would he be otherwise.]

That boy Kent? I can't imagine what she sees in him, frankly.

[Now that he's got the upper hand back in the conversation, Bruce's smile is a little wolfish.]

Explains why she's the one married to him and not you, I suppose.

[And this is why he hardly talks to Brucie Wayne in public. At least when he's Clark Kent at a party he can pretend he's too drunk to stand and they both need fresh air.]

In any case, Superman, I won't take up too much of your time. I suppose I'll see you at this little rebuilding shindig.
